This very pipeline was a presence in our literal back yard in Alabama. We could leave the yard and run for miles in either direction on the right-of-way. Never thought about it. But that was the eighties and now everybody is sooo touchy about things.....

I’ve had 5 VW cars, with a sixth on the way when they buy my diesel Passat. Never had electrical problems. Maybe I’m lucky.

We used to have a Montero that was real high. Stopped at a light the guy in the Mustang in front of me flew out of his car and ran back toward me with a red face screaming, “Turn off your high beams!” I just shrugged and turned my high beams on for two seconds. He didn’t have the decency to calm down or anything.…

So where did they find a model whose lips are exactly like the front of the car? That was the best part.
