Yes, but this is just a slight upgrade of an already existing and proven console.

Most of the reasons that make preordering games a bad practice don’t really apply in this case.

This is one of my favorite, yet most in need of attention, feature of recent games. I love it, but PotG is very flawed. Here’s hoping the revamp makes it as awesome as it could be.

I agree. Two per hero in Quickplay and one per hero in Ranked makes more sense to me. It feels kind of severe to limit Quick to just one hero.
There need to be steps to reducing griefing in un-ranked modes but that seems a bit much for a mode that is meant for casual play.

Junkenstein, their first big co-op test of a game mode, just ended a few days ago. If they’re going to take the statistics from that as a means for if they should pursue a permanent co-op mode, then of course they weren’t ready to announce it at Blizzcon. This is Blizzard we’re talking about here, do you not realize

Shipping is particularly rampant in the Overwatch fan community, but honestly we can’t be too surprised or put off by it. Blizzard designed and marketed this game to be ripe for that kind of fandom. They purposely kept their character’s history simple and current events vague with only their personality and theming

It barely has any good games? I can think of over 10 fantastic exclusives just off the top of my head right now without even looking it up. I’m sorry you’re so upset about the sub-par online features but that doesn’t make it’s game library bad. You sure you’re a Nintendo fan? You don’t sound like one.

It’s kinda sad how as the Wii U has finally hit it’s stride over the past year or so it’s cycle is already coming to an end. In it’s current state, it’s a must-have system with a lot of great exclusives. It’s just a shame that it spent the majority of it’s life cycle not.

Lower World Tiers do give lower weapon and armor ratings. Stephen is suggesting you play on a lower Difficulty, which is a separate setting.

World Tiers affect what level the enemies are. World Tier 1 is level 30 enemies, WT2 is 31, WT3 is 32, and WT4 is 33. On WT4, all loot you acquire will be the highest GearScore,

Sweet. Now it’s just time to wait for a sale on a deluxe pack with the base game and this expansion in the included DLC and I’ll finally pick this game up.

I didn’t realize how much I wanted this until you said it.

You’d get a better selection of F2P games just downloading an Android emulator like MEmu or Bluestacks and getting games off the Play Store, assuming you’re wanting to play free games on your PC rather than mobile device.

Facebook’s game selection is basically a worse version of the Android market but with Facebook

Just looked up Open Morrowind and holy crap! They’ve been working on that project for over 5 years!

If you have a choice then yes, the Xbox One version is better for it’s far more extensive mod support.

However, it’s worth noting this fact which I’m quoting from gamerevolution.com’s review:

“The PS4 version has seen a slight increase in audio fidelity, resulting in an incredible auditory experience whether you’re out

I’m torn between so many games that I want to play right now. Destiny is mid Festival of the Lost, Elder Scrolls Online’s new One Tamriel update is fantastic, The Division’s patch 1.4 has completely salvaged the game into a much more fun loot grinder, I’m still not bored of Overwatch’s Junkenstein event, and Diablo

Yes, it is that good and that popular. Many people still consider it to be SquareSoft’s greatest RPG.

Some people, especially those who experienced these games when they were younger and the games/hardware were still new, would much rather experience them again through authentic means rather than emulating them on their computer or phone.

It’s the same reason people buy vinyl. “Why not just download the MP3s? Or if you

No, you’re implying that trading such a nice little collection of great retro games for a full-priced modern release like BF1, that’ll be half it’s price a year from now when DLC for it is out, is an awful. You’re correct.

That said, BF1 is pretty great. It just makes much more sense to trade $60 for it than all those

I’ve found that typically GameStop gouges customers on trade-in value, not used sale pricing. You can find better deals online elsewhere with just a little bit of effort but their re-sell pricing isn’t their most egregious practice.

To clarify, the list of games in the article is what GameStop was accepting from Mike’s collection specifically. The above list is not their complete trade-in list.

That said, you’re right. Buy/Sell/Trade retro games locally. Don’t feed the machine.

Fellow Kotakuites, don’t go to GameStop for retro game trade-ins/purchases. It’s fine if you want to go there for new or used game purchases of recent titles, pricing will be about the same as other stores for that, but there are SO many local shops out there throughout the world trying to specialize in retro game
