It’s not too bad. There’s maybe 4-ish seconds between running out of health and returning to the loading screen, then maybe 10 seconds of loading depending on your platform. I have a fairly fast PC and it was usually a little less than 10 seconds of loading after death, but I’m rounding up for slower PCs/consoles.

So,

Chrono Cross disappointed a lot of people back in the day because they went into it expecting a Chrono Trigger sequel and that’s not quite what it is.
It’s certainly a spiritual successor and they do share a lot in common, but Chrono Cross is different in it’s own right.

Those things said, Chrono Cross is a fantastic

It always cracks me up when I see people getting so offended about criticism of something that wasn’t even their own work.

I’ll have a debate with someone over how good something is or is not, but I’m not going to hate them for having a different opinion or being unable to convince them to think differently of it.

If

He’s gotten a lot better at what he does as of late. His videos are a far cry from what they used to be a few years ago and as a whole are generally more entertaining and watchable.

I think it’s debatable if the story is better than 3. I’d say that if you just look strictly at quality of story-telling then it’s fair to say 4's is better, but personal taste does matter and 3's told a much more dark and heartfelt story so some might prefer 3's.
They were both great, though.

3 & 4 are both great and worth playing. They both have re-releases with additional content so if you pick either up make sure you look into which version you’re getting.

Also, not sure if you’re aware seeing as you have only somewhat followed the series but the games can be very long and grindy with some huge

Maybe I’m in the minority here but I don’t get upset about delays. I’d much rather a game delayed than released sub-optimally.

The “I’m just exposing the issues” defense holds no water. If that were the case, he could do the exploit once, record it, host it somewhere unlisted, and send the link to FromSoft.

Doing it for hours, on stream no less, is just being a dick.

Watching the entire game played out in 40 minutes was a fun trip down memory lane and a reminder just how great this game was. Every new area I was like, “Ooo! I remember that part!... Oh, and this part was so fun too!” etc.

It’s crazy how the years go by. This game came out so long ago but it doesn’t feel like it.

I agree that speedrunning a game with a great story like HL2 without ever having experienced it naturally first would be a travesty and a disservice to the player, but I doubt that’s the case here. I’m sure these runners have all enjoyed the story as intended before, its been around for ages now.

Oh shit, my troll radar is going off the charts!

Well, considering poise IS working (as shown in the latter clips) and just needs it’s value changed to on, I’m hoping From Software addresses this soon. I loves me some heavy armors.

I wonder what they forgot to do that was supposed to change that value? It seems like they designed some kind of gating system then

Pewds is much more funny than he was years ago and he puts far more effort into his videos now.

That said, I still don’t think he’s very good. Every now and then he does a video I actually find entertaining, usually the Photoshop ones, but for the most part his humor is just too juvenile for me.

I dunno, maybe I’ve just

I only struggled with the controls on each mission that introduced a new vehicle/control scheme, and by the second time using said new vehicle/control scheme felt mostly comfortable with it. By the third time through a mission using a particular mechanic, I was completely proficient with it.

Honestly, I just think it’s

Definitely Star Fox Zero. Put a couple hours into it so far and am really enjoying it. The controls took a while to get used to but once I learned the nuances of it everything started to go much smoother. I’ve even been enjoying the non-space levels, I think they’re fun and well designed. Very pleased with the

I’m surprised. DS3 is actually the first of the Souls series where it’s actually worked reliably for me. I had more problems getting to a game with a friend in Bloodborne than I did DS3.
