How many story missions there are would be easy to quantify, yes. I think the point is that they may have put more effort into these missions than before, or maybe tried new gameplay designs/mechanics, and don’t want to set a conception of sameness by simply saying, “The same amount as all the other planets.”

Are you not normally a Persona fan? This has been their style since P3.

I certainly agree that the graphics are quite obviously dated. Even the newest content, such as in Draenor, while looking much better than vanilla WoW from back in 2004 still looks worse then any more title released today.

It’s just the way of MMOs, though. The developers can only modify and refine the graphics engine

You make a fair argument, but also consider the actual economics of the situation. When you preorder a physical copy of a game, the game has for certain (assuming you don’t cancel before release) established another sale.

This is misleading. Though for someone who doesn’t follow D3 closely that’s an obvious assumption to make, in reality Blizzard has been supporting the next-gen versions of D3 just as much as the PC version.

Often times, very talented groups of modders end up getting job offers from the game’s parent company when they release content of this caliber. Given the source material (no pun intended) it’s moments like these that make me say, “Valve-senpai, please notice this guy.”

Just replying for the OP to concur that this is correct, if all the Stars weren’t evidence enough.
The console (next-gen) releases are being supported just as as much the PC version.

Tough choice, it’d be a good time to join either. I’m currently going with WoW but FFXIV’s Heavensward expac looks awesome. I’d say you can’t really go wrong with either right now.

I’m still a little confused about the requirement for 3 players. If you only have two, why not let the host control the third Link, just like he would control both of the other Links when playing alone?

This would also allow a player to drop out during a 3-player session without having to end the game. Just have his

So I have some suspicions about this newest Metroid game and I’m curious who else thinks this concept might work:

Well, their fanboys typically defend them so blindly because Nintendo has a pretty stellar track record. How many times have they gone controversial directions with their IPs and had it pay off? Without actually breaking down the numbers right now, I think I can safely say it’s the majority of the time. They’ve had

I think telling Nintendo to “pioneer something” is a little strange, as they’re typically the company that takes new risks and does exactly that.

Sean Hollister, have you used both the Rift and the Morpheus? If so, how did the experiences compare?
I’ve only used Rift DK2 and personally I found it shockingly convincing but couldn’t shake the feeling of being in a box, with the borders of the “screen” being so easily noticeable. Did you have the same experience

Even though I don’t think that Cammy’s boob jiggle was that overpronounced personally, when can we finally have a middle ground in games? Like, where women’s breasts jiggle naturally instead of just one extreme or the other?

I’m amazed at how many people fell for that obvious troll bait.

That is what I came here to say. It looked like the gameplay felt very much like the Brutal Doom mod. I think it’s a good thing too.

I think calling it just a different take on TF2 and the Evolve example are a little off-the-mark. Overwatch’s diverse character selection list and unique abilities across all characters liken it more to a MOBA then TF2 or Evolve.

I don’t know, pick a topic. I’m very curious to see which parts of their post you considered nonsense. I thought it was right on point.

“Yep, people playing the build tell us that it’s just the first Gears of War, and that it’s multiplayer-only”
... wut.

Ooo, can we take turns quoting sentences from the post?

I’m gonna use... this one!
