I would probably be so bold as to give it at very solid “Pretty good”, not fantastic, not a movie to shake the pillars of heaven, but a not bad movie. But yeah, I agree with you - there’s something not quite right, something undefinable that I cant quite put my finger on, about the movie.

Most people I know say that this is pretty much a condensing of the original three films into one film. And I would whole-heartedly agree. Not going to lie: Rey’s awesomeness at everything bothered me. Not only can she fly the Millienum Falcon incredibly well, she can defeat a (wannbe) Sith Lord in a lightsaber duel, never mind this same Sith Lord has been training since he was a young kid and is so powerful he can freeze laser blasts in mid-air.
