Now if they would only allow iTunes Extras to play on the latest Apple TV.

"We're going to need another Timmy!"

Is it just me, or does Bliss (the girl on the subway train) in Battle Beasts look a lot like Zooey Deschanel?

Cashews grow on a cashew tree. The apple is called a cashew apple by the way, and the thing the majority are referring to as a cashew is a seed, you nut...a cashew seed! At least in the botanical sense, otherwise we refer to it as a nut.

The OVF lets light through the viewfinder that is reflected from the mirror so you can see. Since light can be shown through it, then there isn't much stopping from light being shined back into it aside from the mirror blocking it when it is up. During long exposure photography, ie astrophotography, photographers

Any person in their right mind (professionals especially) would always carry spare batteries. I have yet to run out of juice with my A77 when out in the field. But I also always carry two batteries. So I find power draw less and less of a concern.

More like around 900 lbs wet.

I don't know if I would refer to it as a 2 wheeled Civic. Gold Wings are more like 2 wheeled Acura TLs or RLs. They are powered by a smooth running, torquey, flat 6 and the latest models have an aluminum frame versus the standard steel frames to cut down on weight. Add to that luxury items for a bike such as

Gotta love The IT Crowd!

I agree, it is a myth. Loud pipes or not, if the person isn't paying attention they are going to pull over into your lane regardless of whether they hear you or not.

I have to agree. I've got a 2012 Ford Edge Sport AWD and had no issues familiarizing myself with the technology. I will say, the crashes and navigation issues prior to the recent update were frustrating. But they didn't happen often.

No, it's pronounced "eye-gor."

You've got it backwards.

I bet someone in the control room was probably crapping their pants when they saw the left Navcam not displaying properly, only a minute later to release a sigh of relief. They then promptly excused themselves to change their clothes.

Happens to me as well with FireFox 13.0.1.

CCFL still has its place in the market for those that wish to have a wide gamut display (photography and art) without paying an arm and a leg. You can't get a wide gamut LED backlit display using just white LEDs, which most of the displays use to keep the price down. There are a few wide gamut LED backlit monitors

I think you are mixing up backlight technology with panel technology. The AH-IPS is the panel, LED is the backlight. In the case of this monitor, it is backlit by LEDs and not a CCFL.

They actually tried that, at least twice that I know of. The first attempt was on the Mars Polar Lander but that unit was lost during the mission, so no sounds were ever recorded. The second attempt was on the Phoenix program. It was part of the MARDI, Mars Decent Imager, but that device malfunctioned, so no sound

If I recall correctly, the zoom lenses were abandoned in favor of a 100mm lens and a 34mm lens that it switches between. They didn't have enough time to thoroughly test out the hardware for the zoom lenses.

If I recall correctly, the Mazda3 didn't use all of the SkyActive technology. Most of the technology was just shoehorned into the current gen Mazda3, whereas the CX-5 and Mazada6 were built from the ground up with SkyActive in mind. SkyActive isn't just the mechanics, it is also a design philosophy that involves the
