@iii moozez iii: These things are very regularly painted. Like every port call some part is actively being painted by the Boatswain's Mates. It's never finished, when they finally get around the whole thing they just start over again.

I want this so badly. I work from home and this would be a huge quality of life improvement.

@Xagest: My old HP PDA had this. It was a blast to change the channels on restaurant and pub TVs by choosing the right TV manufacturer to emulate.

@curiouscomputer: That's where they put the perps since there's no back seat. Either that or on the handle-bars.

@Gary_7vn: Fortunately you have to know where a ship is located in order to launch missiles at it. I sat on a Carrier in the Persian Gulf for 6 months and the threat of chemical attacks and/or ship-killer missiles was very real but the fact that the gulf is big and we were mobile was a nice security blanket.

Apparently working from home skews this tool considerably.

Aside from these uses for BKF I also use it on the boat. Just mix a solution of water and powder, pour it on, wait 5 minutes, spray it off. Wonderful stuff and it's much cheaper at my local hardware store than that Amazon price.

@KillerKoala: Can't forget Poor Paul's Pourhouse. Best dive ever.

That sounds alot like my term for water-based shrinkage: pool dick. Just as crude but infinitely more usable.

@Curves: I can live with that. As long as women would collectively accept that men are genetically programmed a certain way by thousands of years of evolution and it's totally OK for us to spread our seed every opportunity we get. I mean, that's like nature and stuff.

@Scott Bradley Hancock: These are M-Audio monitors I got with my 1st gen iPhone Apple Store credit. They are not top of the line obviously. They sound great when I sit at my desk but from across the room they don't project the same imaging at all.

@johnnyabnormal: something to do with near-field if I had to guess. My monitors sound amazing when I sit 2 feet away but lose all depth from 6 feet away.

@Brightmotor: This is bucket list material for me. I will build at least one nice pair of speakers before I kick.

@Kravin Moorehead: Rocking some 10-year-old Klipsch reference series myself with no regrets

@LetsTryThisAgain: what's the deal with politics anyway? i saw it once, then i analyzed the game mechanics, deduced that the rest of my life would be spent listening to a bunch of over-privileged blowhards using fear tactics in the media to manipulate one of two large groups of mouth breathers who can't think for

Bag-less isn't the feat. Not losing suction is the feat. Full or empty it sucks hard! No bags is just a plus because you don't have to pay $20 per pack. Canister gets dirty you wash it. It's plastic but fits together tightly and has stood up to 7 years of dog hair abuse.

Nice clean setup. I'm working like a dog to get my office de-cluttered, hopefully it will be as inviting when I finish.

Seriously look at the Westones, made in the USA with very high quality components. I replaced my UE Pro dual drivers with a set of Westone dual drivers and they are much more comfortable and sound phenomenal. The UEs are now gym-only while the Westones come on the road with me.

I sure hope they tied all that shit back together somehow because they 'lost' a loyal viewer the season the stupid black smoke monsters were running rampant. Writers strike or not that was pretty frustrating.

Sunscreen, insect repellant, multi-bit screwdriver kit, leatherman, extra fuses, cloth to cover anything valuable left in the open, cargo net to strap things down with, sunglasses, small bills and change, headphones, ipod (stays connected to the head unit and is hidden in the glove box, contains my entire music and
