Mmmm I think its a mixture of both for her. Her house isn’t really clean, which is why I am always baffled when she says she spent all day cleaning while her husband watched football because he’s in “big money leagues”.

100% - I am not going to lie, my husband is from Europe... where I think splitting and being involved is more common.

Yes - my husband also cleans our kitty litter, does the dishes, first watch baby night nurse and laundry. Those are his tasks.

See... this is where I think the study could be off. I think she enjoys it... or like wants the attention / approval from it.

I think that is totally case - she is also a control freak so I think being constantly stressed from doing stuff makes her feel like OMG THEY CAN ONLY RELY ON ME LOOK HOW STRESSED OUT AND BUSY I AM.

I came here only to discuss how my ex friend bragged about being the breadwinner for her family, but at home she was diminished to a housewife.
