It might be a controversial take, but i think the McDonalds basic cheeseburger is pretty much the pinnicle of the fast food burger art form. I dont like super thick beef patties that just make it taste like grease. Thin for flavor, and a delivery vehicle for pickles, onions, ketchup and mustard. Small portion, as well.
