So can we all just admit at this point that Assange is just Putin’s tool to wreck democracy?
No, it is not. While many - including me - disagree with her politics, that does not make her less of a woman and less entitled to the same rights as a man. The simple fact that you resorted to not one, but two crass insults - bitch and the ever overused and inappropriate Nazi - tells me that you have a problem with…

I have family members saying the same thing. Fidel betrayed the people and later, manipulated VZLA, and now look at Caracas. His regime never could provide decent food, but never skimped on PR.
I’ll settle for “he was terrible.” That’s an appropriate eulogy.
This doesn’t make up for the rest of the year, 2016. Go fuck yourself.
“...Melania is extremely close to Baron,” the source told the Post, “and they have become closer during the campaign...”
We call that Freedom Foam.
I get the feeling that lots of the present players will be gone after a year or so. Trump seems like the type who has a few true loyalists and a lot of other rotating parts (didn’t he fire Lewandowski half-way through the campaign?).
We already get Mike Pence. I suspect that he will be as much if not more a shadow player than Dick Cheney was ever thought of being. I would love to be proven wrong on my hunch, by the way.
That depends. Is the Giant Meteor going to run again?
How about this thought experiment: Trump v. West, 2020. Who do you vote for?
Mike Pence has his own little email scandal though. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/11/17/vice-president-elect-mike-pence-has-his-own-email-dispute-in-indiana/
If really afraid he’s gonna be the guy.
I’m all for anything that gets me through the night, but we have Pence now. Like Cheney, he’s going to be the power behind the throne. He is, after all, heading the transition team.
Too much to hope Senate blocks his appointment, right?
I’m as blue as they get but deregulating telecoms happened under Clinton in ‘96.
Maybe — I think a lot of the uncertainty came this year (as here as in the Brexit, or Colombia’s referendum on FARC, etc) with elections where both choices were seen as unpopular. Obama is a charismatic and telegenic candidate, even if you disagree with his politics, and his favorability ratings have reflected that,…
Another thing for me actually is that I have a history of cervical cancer and have had multiple surgeries. The goal was always to preserve my ability to conceive and bear children, but now that that’s done if it ever came back I might just get rid of the whole kit and caboodle and call it a day!
