Yeah. I had severe prenatal and postpartum depression. I never truly understood just how little you can control mental health until I went through it myself...when I got better with meds, I was like holy crap - who was that?

Thank you. I hate the whole “happiness is a choice” thing. It just illustrates why mental health is so misunderstood.

I wish I could say definitively that the Republicans are aware of their role. Frankly I believe that Ted Cruz was one of the biggest contributors.

He did accuse Obama of being responsible for the Orlando shooting. Unlike Trump though, he later apologized for his remarks and clarified that he was referring to Obama’s national security policy.

I agree with you on Palin - she was legitimately terrifying.

Well articulated. You hit on my concerns.

Beautiful. Thank you so much for this!!

Yeah, I’ve seen primary stuff and it looks cool, but it’s kind of pricey, no?

BTW - I love both your user name and your picture.

Yeeeessss. I hate the little slogans. Sooooo much. Why is less more?

I totally agree...not a big deal. Now if it was your brother or sister who was like, oh what a cute girl (and it’s really a boy), maybe get annoyed at that. But a stranger that passes by the stroller?

You’re right - thrifting works well. I just hate any type of shopping where I have to leave the comfort of my couch and computer. :D

Ha ha ha.

I’ll admit it’s tough not having a pronoun when you’re expecting. It gets tiring saying “he or she”.

I found it hard to get gender neutral stuff before the little guy was born too (though not nearly as hard as it is now). I was like, what if you don’t find out?

Thanks for the tip! Primary also has good things...it’s just pricey.

I think she does. She included the discussion about the real way to change things is to change the buying behavior and to ‘vote your dollars’.

Seriously. I have some friends who get really mad if people don’t correctly identify the sex of the baby. Our little guy gets called a girl all the time. I don’t really care, I just slip “him” in the conversation.

We waited until our baby was born. I didn’t want gendered crap either. The problem is that now our little bub is a year old. It’s impossible to find him clothing that isn’t blue, or gender stereotyped. For example, I wanted to buy him some new pjs with zippers. All the pjs were excessively girl or excessively boy. I

I got your point. :D
