Yeah so I listened to “No” and listened to “All about that Bass” and then watched the youtube videos. I don’t see a huge difference in tone from her in either song (I mean style-wise they are different). But she still plays on the african-american vernacular and uses african-american dancers in both pieces.

100% agree.

Exactly. Key point in his statement:

At the risk of sounding condescending:

Yikes. That hasn’t been my experience...but we’re only 10 months in.

Truth. Just biding my time until my baby turns 20 and we can have a decent conversation.

You could just hibernate for a couple of years and then if you decide to have kids, reemerge.

No it’s not awful not to want kids. Contrary to what a-holes say, it’s not selfish. It’s just a choice.

...and yet another reminder of why I stopped cheering for/following the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sigh...fuckin Rapeliesburger.

I don’t proclaim to understand most art...but WTF is this?

Yes. Whoever is running for President has a fucking patriotic duty to learn these issues and figure things out. Trump’s inability to do that is a fucking travesty. It’s fucking unpatriotic.

I’m liking this strictly for the #Berning4Trump...clever!

Why do you say that it’s correct?

Yes, I was aware of that, which I find disheartening. But you were talking about who things he’s done to appear to be a decent human being so that was what I was addressing. Frankly there’s a lot of other stuff that bothers me quite a bit more than that. His whole narrative about taxes, fixing the economy to resolve

Probably his VP run in 2012? He talked a lot about getting away from Republican obstructivism and trying to put forth good policies. He was the one who was talking about what the Republicans can do to help the poor, fix education, etc.

Eh, Donald Trump represents about 5% of the voters (or at least during the primary) now the Republican Party will garner more support for Trump for the people who are anti-Hillary. But there’s still a pretty significant group within the Republicans who are refusing to support Trump which is different than other

I wouldn’t say I liked all of them - I’m actually an Independent anyway - but I saw some potential in him to revamp the party and try to get it away from this negative, “let’s just blame the Dems for all of the problems instead of counter with other ideas” mindset. But frankly his commentary and “ideas” lately have

I was a fairly big supporter of Paul Ryan for awhile, since he actually seemed to be someone with ideas in an idea-less party and he seemed like a breath of fresh air compared to the Tea Party nutter-butters...but frankly his recent comments on taxation, government just shows how uninspiring and out of touch he is

I hope you’re right.

Yes...that’s my fear as well.
