Seems like a lot of work. Isn't there just a way to do this on .wtv files?

I assume the "stock" analogy applies primarily to stocks like GM. It was worth a lot years ago, so it must be worth something now.... wrong!

A vote here for Glary Utilities - it has a "wipe free space" function, and a "file shredder" with multiple over-write options, and a friendly GUI.
Can you also add to the article a discussion of regional organic labels? Some products use vague terms like "conforms to Oregon organic standards" etc., and without knowing how strict those standards are (more, or less than USDA), it is impossible to interpret.
Got promoted a year ago
@Kin: Love the stuff. Ordered 3 packs of it last year and had to wait a while but got some eventually in January. Have used it on a bunch of repairs (iPhone charging cables, bathroom chrome fixtures that were rusting, frayed cable on laptop charger, fridge magnets, broken plastic rubbermaid laundry tote, door…
@techfox:
#1 tip.... move closer to work. I've never commuted more than 2 miles in my entire life, and don't ever intend to increase that distance. It has been the one overriding factor that has governed both job and house choices over the past 2 decades.
@PaulRudW: 100% Agree. There are all kinds of shelters/support projects, as well as 3rd world causes, who could do a lot better work with your old cellphone.
@Bill Clark: Tried that. CutePDF is basically a printer emulator, so you "print" whatever document it is to a PDF. Unfortunately in the case of PDFs, it seems to carry over whatever DRM is embedded in a document, so if the original is locked, so is the daughter file.
@farcedude: +1 on craftsman tools from sears. If you can clip a coupon from the paper, or catch them at the time of a special offer, they can be very cheap. A good set of 20V battery-operated tools (drill/screwdriver/recip-saw/circ-saw/lamp/2 batteries/charger) will set you back less than $100 on a good day. They…
@Famf: Orb
I have a pretty specific question about Adobe Acrobat. I'm reviewing some grants, and they're PDFs, and for various reasons I don't have Acrobat writer, just the reader (I use cutePDF to make PDFs).
@Dragonis: www.sugru.com
This has got to be one of the stupidest things I've seen all week. Is it really that difficult to carry stuff on a plane?
Simple... I look at the screen and see who it is. If it's the boss or a family member, I'll politely excuse myself from the table with "I have to take this". Anyone else, it can wait.
My rule #1 has always been as follows.... NEVER assume that what is put on the x-axis in a graph is the independent variable (i.e. the CAUSE of the thing on the y-axis). Very often, all you're looking at is 2 things that correlate, and there's no causation. The biggest mistake everyone makes is to assume that…
Beautiful. Quick question... where is this (climate/temperature wise), and did you insulate? I'd love an office like this, but here in upstate NY, taking a regular balcony and converting it would result in a very cold office.
Step 1 - How many hours will this take?
