Raymond Loewy vs. Lame & Showy

is quite well-loved, even after 57 years of service, since the Kennedy Administration.

I had no clue this was even a thing, but I like it. Even moreso knowing how many neckbeards are actually getting upset over it.

My father just restored a gorgeous ‘68 Charger. I kinda want to photoshop those guards on it and post it to that group.

Red Starburst are still pretty good.

Pfft, he wishes that were plywood. That’s OSB.

Underestimating the effect of cold water unfortunately happens quite a lot.

Yeah, I’m guessing based on the description that the rest stop was big bar, which has a rocky beach and a deceptively looking shallow area.  Rivers are running fast and cold right now.  Bad combination.

Considering they found his bike at the rest stop and his clothes, computer, and phone by the river, it seems like he left the bike to go for a swim in the river or maybe a bath. The fact that he didn’t come back for those things and they weren’t stolen would suggest that he somehow became incapacitated in the river

$30k for a new battery pack??? Holy shit this car is so far in the crack pipe range it’s off the scales!!

How can you not have a smile on your face seeing one?

Plus donks are hilarious

If I’m honest, I hate donks less than I hate stanced cars. At least donks can defeat speedbumps and mildly graded driveway aprons.

+1 for bronze wheels on a red car. Looks good man

Word. I bought my rebuilt 15 mustang gt preium with only 12k miles. Dirt cheap. Had a little ding on the rear bumper and a few light scratches on qtr window where someone broke in. But overall it’s fine. Especially mechanical. It plan on keeping it forever. I love it.

I know barber shops are kind of their own world, but that is an amazingly shitty thing for someone in the service industry to say to another.

Yeah, I still don’t get the whole lobstah thing...not a fan.

I partially agree with you, only because (not sure where you live) in California we have 10-12 lane freeways so passing on the right generally means there’s still an additional 3 lanes between you and the furthest right one. Plus lane hogs that sit in the fast lane and never fucking move.

I will never give up my LA suburbia home with its four-car garage with cracker fridge and an extra-long driveway. I can’t fathom having to wrench on the curb like some common animal. Can you even enjoy a beer out there?

Not really in my wheelhouse, but I think everything seems tastefully-done, and what has been done is pretty easily reversable. $3,800 seems reasonable for a pretty decent example of a rare car.
