I don't understand. I thought studies said that even just a few percent more cloud cover could help slow climate change but here we are saying these contribute to it? What's the difference between cloud that lowers temps and clouds that increase it? Is it more to do with the temp of the region they are in?

If I remember correctly, the Turbo X got miserable gas mileage for a V6, like 15 city. Need to do better than that if there was a next time.

Bring back all the wagons! But especially this one:

Accord Wagon. Manual. Not dead, just missing.

The Flex was a great car actually. It was big enough for a whole family, had more power than it really needed out of that ecoboost, it looked pretty damn good, had AWD for snowy climates but never tried to act like it had any kind of off-road chops, and you could get a really well optioned one for under 40k.

The Mustang II. Sounded good at first... a smaller platform, less weight, potentially more nimble? Perfect for a sports car! But Ford based it on the Pinto platform. It came with a 4-cylinder engine making under 90hp. But you could get an optional V6 making just a hair over 100!

It’s probably the Model T, isn’t it? No knock against the Tin Lizzie, just that it’s likely objectively worse than every car that came after it (which, I suppose opens up how it compares to the handful of cars they built prior). It’s slow, kind of flimsy, and most people couldn’t just hop in and drive it without a

I don’t even like Elon Musk, but this article is “journalist brain” at its worst.

The original livery is iconic and should not be messed with.

As someone who lives in the upper midwest, where cars go to slowly rust in to absolutely nothing, I’d buy this for $4k and then just run it in to the ground over the next decade.  Damage > rust any day.

Alternate take - it’s a cheap TRUCK! Lose the bespoke deluxe bed and replace it with a useful, open, F-150 one, from a junk yard, along with a “standard” bumper.

I was in for a possible NP flip (depending on how deep that rust goes) until I saw that rear door frame...

Did you see the rear door frame? I don’t think that’ll buff out...

My neighbour has a Quattroporte. Every time it starts up I get jealous. Until last week, when it started and then went clunk. I went downstairs and kissed both my TSX and my wallet, and said a silent prayer of thanks that I had a Japanese car in the driveway.

My Italian BIL bought one of these back in the day. I recall it had the truly terrible auto-manual gearbox. It was great at WOT but really rough any other time. A planetary auto would definitely be a better option.
