Gorgeous photopraphy, flying down canyons and so on, but cheesy nightrider vibe and music.  Seems like a good guy to go along with it.

Great points, although i still like cars to have distinguishable “eyes”. Maybe I’m old.

They are kind of mimicking exhaust ports with those turn signals, which is also kind of inspired.

the Dodge Dakota. Nice size, nice power, solid and dependable. i drove the first iteration, and it worked flawlessly on nasty Forest Service roads.

I never thought of them as ugly or pretty, but kind of distinctively functional, with the creds to pull it off. They are hybrids with great mileage. No one else has pulled if off as successfully.

A two stroke?  Ugh ugh

Trump buys lovely golf courses. Not to go political, but it isn’t a savvy purchase, nor was his money well earned. Lovely golf course, Faberge egg, mansion, blood diamond, hypercar. Singers are amazing, but they’ve jumped the shark to just a bauble for the baubulous.

People got too much money.  Pay your taxes, feed the poor- no, ya know what, I’m going to be a tool.

It’s pretty, and the price of a used Miata, but it’s waving red flags of misery- a pricier Corvette or comparably priced Miata would bring much more joy.  But look at that engine!

So given the opportunity, dealers will be dealers- got it. Their horrible reputation is well-earned. Until the manufacturers hold them responsible, they will forever coat themselves in slime, like the remarkable hagfish.

No offense to your beautiful Suburban son, it just looks like a pile to pack and camp in.

Vanagon- loads of storage, two double beds, a fridge, a stove, and it takes nothing to set up and take down.  That Suburban looks like hell- I’d rather be in a tent.

There’s no such thing as a cheap European car; Japanese cars work.

I love it; even the front grill is improving, although still not right. This is worlds nicer than its competitors.

Yuck.  Car dealers were made for this.  We did some costly repairs on my wife’s old Pilot to buy us another year or so.

I had a Saab.  Selling it was so ridiculous that I kind of lost some faith in humanity and gave my next car to charity rather than go through it again; I see why people take whatever they can in trade-in. My other cars burned, were totalled, or I still have, so that’s the only one I had to sell, thank goodness.

I was wondering whether this is larger or smaller than a RAV4. Or the Venza!  Have we reached peak SUV now? Or do people really crave more choices in SUVs than the 6 or more Toyota offers?

I was trying to think if the Volkswagen squareback i rode in as a kid had rolldown back windows.  Of course, we were in Berkeley, where the weather is always fine. And it was a bare bones kind of car from a recovering wartorn nation, without so much as an AM radio, so rear windows seems unlikely.

Ooh- higher Amazon traffic, lower other traffic, so maybe them Amazon drivers are terrible!

People definitely lost their driving skills and drove badly.  And speed kills.
