Characters like the two you mention (Bioware is really guilty of this), feel like they where just shoehorned in to appease certain people. There is really no depth to any of them. I wish they went deeper into Cortez backstory and actually fleshed him out as a character.

I wish PvE/Co-op/Notes where available without the forced PvP invasions. Demon’s Souls did it best, take a stat hit to be immune to PvP griefers and still be able to enjoy the other cool features such as notes and death messages.
