Makes no sense... the Nexus 5 and 6 came out and then the 5x and 6p... they could keep going the random letter route. They’ve also had two Nexus 7's...

A song that he is reminded of every time he hears the intruder alert... Imagine saying something like “Every time someone gets married I am reminded of game of thrones.” Then someone else going “game of thrones has rape in it, on Sansa Stark’s wedding night. You talking about it makes me uncomfortable.” It’s a bit of

The other thing, he wasn’t joking about rape... just saying every time he hears an intruder alert it reminds him of the bed intruder song...

If the searches rely on bing why don’t they just use bings mature content filter?

Has anyone ever told you that ethernet cables are worse than wifi? Because they are older... The headphone jack, albeit analogue, doesn’t make a difference to the final product since bluetooth headphones convert the digital signal into an analogue one anyhow (human ears are surprisingly analogue). The only difference

chip is more secure than mag stripe...

So lock screen widgets ~4 years - since removed, most other stuff ~2 years, and fingerprint to unlock may have been iOS first (though I am pretty certain Samsung phones had fingerprint stuff before stock Android, and possibly before iOS, though I doubt sammy’s implementation was terribly great. Plus if we are talking

When did android add these? I can’t even remember. I feel like its been at least two years. Some of them even longer.

Oh the non bluetooth headphones don’t have a jack... I get it, they have a wire that connects to a jack.

So you are saying bluetooth isn’t a physical chip with physical antennae? Or that the w1 chip inside the airpods isn’t a physical chip with physical antennae?

Perhaps, but this isn’t the first time Apple has decided to try and forgo the standard (like bluetooth in this case, previously they tried to replace USB with firewire). I’m not sure the ease of setup is worth the cost. $160 for headphones will buy you some really nice bluetooth sets that don’t look like electronic

The thing is, their new W1 technology used to connect their proprietary head phones is a physical chip with physical antennae. It is taking up the space that the headphone jack did. Essentially meaning they threw away the headphone jack to sell proprietary headphones.

The iPhone 7 is the same thickness as the iPhone 6S, thicker than the iPhone 6 though. And at 7.3mm it is thicker than quite a few alternatives, ones that happen to have a headphone jack.

Flash... mostly because it makes sense in DC lore for him to dimension hop.

In the keynote they said they removed it because of courage. So basically yes, they did it for the sake of change. There are a bunch of competitors that have had stereo speakers in small if not smaller form factors.

Sure, maybe the home button will annoy us to death. And maybe the camera won’t live up to Apple’s hype. But we can say these changes are different than anything that has come before.

Not just because, they removed it because of courage!
