A transition lens doesn’t become opaque, just darker, the same can be said for the automated dimming in rear view mirrors (which, it should be noted, are themselves not transparent). The thing is even if it became fully opaque, the lens would need to be able to selectively become opaque in very specific areas

There is a glass lens in front of your face... like google glass... that lens has light projected on it and it reflects that light into your eye (as explained in the quote). However the glass is transparent (obviously since you can see your surroundings). What this means is objects in front of you that are lit are

FYI this technology only works in dark rooms, there is currently no way for them to remove light from the surrounding environment.

The moral... don’t early adopt.

This is exactly why I have some money automatically removed from my bank account and put into a savings account that i dont remember the password for... also the same reason I don’t have a debit card.

Aye, if they are looking for space they’d likely raid 6 it... honestly I’d have some drives as a raid 10 (for the working projects) and others as raid 6 (for the completed projects).

I’m fairly certain in the dictionary if you look up corrupt wealthy elitist, it says “see Donald Trump”. Consider Donald Trump wants to censor media and essentially block freedom of speech... your entire statement is very counter intuitive.

That still sounds like its the doctors who should be handling that. Especially in the cases where a person may be mentally unstable and not necessarily capable of comprehension of the benefits of taking the meds or how they actually help.

Wouldn’t the generation that started over prescribing meds like antibiotics, psych meds, or ADHD meds be the one that is truly at fault? If the people prescribed meds didn’t need them, wouldn’t that be on their doctor for prescribing them unnecessary meds?

I sent a response that could fix the issues you have with the UI, but this sums up my thoughts

I assume there is a zip code tied to each clinic. It would then make sense for the registration UI to initialize with something like

Terry McGinnis ;)

I don’t really agree that the chatbot would be any different than an app or even website, when set up correctly. For example, at my current job we had to develop a timeout method that after a determined time passes, the user would be kicked out to the login screen. However when this happens the web site stores the

So assuming they can get the ships to 20% of c, and the ships can transmit data back to us at c (albeit red shifted a bit), that means it would take roughly 22 years from the launch date to reach alpha centauri and an additional 4.4 years for them to transmit data back to us. That means the total amount of time for us

The thing is that a properly designed UI handles intent. So when you type to google “saturday flight for new york” it knows to pick the closest airport and present you with the times and prices of flights leaving on saturday to airports in new york. Then you are one click away from securing a departure ticket at which

I’m sure it’s not, but generally speaking a well designed UI is sufficient as they anticipate user intent. Essentially a chatbot works best for a help functionality or placing a complicated food order, but anything with data the user doesn’t know it like return flight times, or ticket costs it complicates the process.

It isn’t sifting through data when the data is presented to you at the appropriate time. In that google example it presents you with the information for the flight when you complete the booking process so you don’t need to ask the obvious question of “when do I land?”
