I’d be much more inclined to purchase a bunch of $5 raspberry pi zeros and use them to control things around my house by setting them up on some wifi mesh network.

Why not get a philips hue or some such “smart light” for less money, tie it into your phone using sleep as android or some similar sleep app, and get the alarm to turn on based on your actual circadian rhythm?

The hardware in a Mac is exactly the same as hardware you can have in your windows PC. Back when Macs used unique hardware they were inferior (just look up PowerPC, and try to guess why Apple moved towards x86-64 based processors). Macs nowadays just cost more for the same thing with a different OS... The true

Oddly enough some Azure services run on Linux, so it is possible (given MS’s push to use Azure) that the OS where the problem came from is Linux. Also possible the wireless router is the issue, in which case it isn’t MS.

Is that circular cut out for the charge cable?

If I follow correctly, that means a recommended pc would cost $900? Why do I doubt a $900 PC could support an occulus...

Anyone else find it humorous that his handle is Morphos and that Morpheus is the Greek god of dreams?

Wasn’t that recent, sadly...

If a store offers 0% interest rate for 18 months for an expensive purchase like $3000 what you should do is take the total and divide it by the total months - 1. Figure out if you can pay that and if you can accept the deal, otherwise don’t. So in that case you’d be paying about $176 a month.

(You can read about the hot method in the link below.)

Nah, I’m just trying to comprehend the decision to prevent people from putting into an IRA if they earn less than the amount they are attempting to put in.

Ya, I dont think the policy changes much, maybe its more to prevent people from collecting food stamps, selling the food and using the sales to put in retirement, who knows... I wouldn’t ever say that any government policies are reasonable...

The policy is essentially worthless, but at least it forces people to have (or falsify) income. Its better than a drug dealer claiming $0, collecting food stamps and putting 5,500 away for retirement. At least they have to kind of earn their retirement while collecting food stamps and making more than the average

Agreed, but that is what the point of needing to earn at least the amount being deposited is. Like ya the dealer could work at McD to have 5,500 in taxable income and then put that into an IRA. But he can’t not have taxable income.

I’m not saying the government wouldn’t get taxes from the person gifting you the cash, but I am saying they want to be able to be sure it is being taxed.

If someone gives you a gift of $5,500 then you don’t need to pay taxes on it, if you then put it into a Roth IRA you don’t need to pay taxes on it to withdraw it either. Meaning you could have earnings on money that is never taxed. The government doesn’t like that.

You can’t put more than you earn in because they want to tax you for your income. If you are putting more in than you claim to earn you have untaxed income.

I have been strongly considering a G-Sync monitor, now doubly so... however I think I’d prefer the monitor be curved, and those are very expensive...

Lol, “we play games together” is a yes, but... not clear that I’m not talking about video games.
