That is what I would have thought, and makes a ton of sense. Though some traffic doesn’t use a useragent. I wonder how they would differentiate using teamviewer to access a work pc from your phone versus using team viewer through a tether to your phone to access your work pc.

Agreed, to add to that, it isn’t making those who abuse the system’s data less unlimited, it is just slowing the speed at which they retrieve data. So it is unlimited so long as you have the time to download it.

I agree, however, to be fair the companies probably shouldn’t advertise unlimited especially when it isn’t possible. Not everyone is smart enough to understand that it isn’t really unlimited, even though it says so virtually everywhere when signing up for a plan.

Mechanical switches are much faster than a membrane keyboard, especially once you get used to them. At first I can see why you’d feel they are slower though. If you push the key all the way down, it would certainly have that feel. However, once you get used to not bottoming out the keys, the mechanical is far

I bought a red switch keyboard recently and as a developer & gamer I wish I went brown or blue instead. Mostly because I make a few typing errors while coding as a result of no feedback. Still though, red is great with the games, just not ideal for someone who uses their PC for things other than games.

I keep an emergency fund in a bank account that is about 6 months of work (in case of layoffs or something similar) when the market tanks I take half of that and stuff it into my funds. However when my emergency fund is full, I invest any money over that into the market.

The only reason my car has a touchscreen in it is because it was a part of the trim I wanted... it has hyundai’s blulink too which is ridiculously expensive yearly cost and utterly useless. Why would I pay $279 a year to use a nav system built in to my car when it is already available, and faster, on my phone. At that

I’ll have to try it, but the one mentioned is a little mustardy.

Whenever I start a new project involved with coding, I generally use at least one new language or technology, if not a whole new stack. This way I can learn new languages and techniques and be really diverse as a developer. I don’t agree you should stick with what you know, but perhaps stay in the ball park? Even

Still, I expect it to only really be for microsoft published games, particularly because MS has more to gain from such a feature than someone like EA, who would rather sell multiple copies.

Doubt it, i expect cross buy will only be for microsoft published games, also they don’t mention PC -> Xbone, they mention Xbone -> PC games.

Any of the front end frameworks are for more complicated sites (like a facebook), where plain js is a bit anemic, I do agree though learning plain JS is necessary to do first. I’ve seen both frameworks and libraries misused though, I’ve seen knockout.js and jquery used to essentially rebuild as much of the the

No worries :-D good luck! But don’t not purchase the book because of its date, technology moves quick, and I imagine publishers don’t, but it is always helpful to know the basics.

There is always one person in the crows who misinterprets intent...

I agree, ES6’s modularization isn’t ideal, but leveraging typescript or babel’s support for it make it more feasible. TypeScript’s future looks strong, its very nice for maintainability and will have some nice features like async await in the future.

The book is probably still helpful, learning generic coding ideals, and common javascript uses, particularly because most shops don’t try for whats best or are innundated with outdated technology (like the one I’m working at). Honestly the best way to learn to code is come up with a concept and code it, but aim to

jQuery will possibly the same, javascript will be a whole new beast. They are planning on doing ecmascript updates every year now. The problem is things like jQuery are not ideal in newer applications especially ones leveraging angular, ember, react, or backbone. jQuery ends up being an antipattern that clutters the

JavaScript & JQuery was published in June of 2014 and is still current

I’ve so far had no reason to purchase a next gen console (ps4 / xbone), should this occur I will probably finally bite at one of em...
