OK GUYS, LET’S NOT MESS THIS UP. TOYOTA IS GIVING THE STATES THE CAR WE BEGGED FOR, LETS NOT LET THEM DOWN.

Never thought I’d see the day when Toyota will build the STI that Subaru wont. What a world.

1st Gear. One glaring issue people forget about Carmax’s sometimes above market pricing markup, is that the “free” warranty included is in the price and for many, that reassurance makes the process less stressful.

This isn’t a warranty though, it’s more of a carmax buying feeling. You can buy a used car pretty much anywhere and add a warranty, but there’s very few places that you can feel comfortable buying the car, and having months to test out every single button and make sure it doesn’t blow up the next block over. Issues

Honda’s used program certainly seems better than you’re giving it credit for. 100 days isn’t insignificant - particularly for older used cars. And you do get some additional benefits. Seems custom tailored for kids going off to college - and if I was a parent who was helping their kid by a car I’d probably go with

Admittedly, I have no idea what the ‘16 drives like, but I like the adjustable dampers in my ‘19. About my biggest complaint with the car is that the stock audio system doesn’t work particularly well with Japanese music files which I find really ironic. Oh, and the shifting speed on the 8 speed auto could be faster

I remember when these weren’t that desirable and that’s exactly when I bought my leftover 2016, brand new OTD for $71k. Those days are long gone.

Was lucky enough to own an 08 and later a 12 ISF which I only sold last month, imo the best of the F cars. The GSF was a great car with great reviews but was marketed and priced poorly and offered no reason for an ISF or E92 owner to upgrade. It was more of a 550i, S6 or V Sport, than M5/CTSV.

As an RC-F owner, I can attest that while they do have some trade offs vs. the competition, there’s nothing quite like a Toyota super car. The extra .5 to 60 and few hundred pounds is worth never having had an unscheduled service visit. Ever.

These, as you allude, are extremely desirable used. They were praised by magazines as being better drivers cars than their contemporaries, even if they weren’t as powerful. I wouldn’t say it’s a forgotten car, I’d say it's a forgotten segment.

It’s Raph, he’s more interested in bicycles

Regarding lack of chargers. I think the REAL constraint on EV adoption is for people that don’t own a single family home.

First gear: I’m a fan of Toyota, and this is an example of why.

Erik, I’m asking this genuinely: are you really this stupid?

This. This is critical, and most people don’t understand how the economics of building cars affects the market.

It’s the “good times will never end” of low gas prices that happens every decade or so. I got premium for less than a dollar in the late 90s and it regularly stayed between $1-2 on average and creeped up to $4-6 in 2008. It’s how you got V10 Ford Excursions with 10mpg and no one blinked. Then the small car boom in

The solution to that is a vasectomy.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that the thing we want most is no more slideshows!
