They also seem to be geniuses

1989 was a good year

This is what I came to say. Find a seller who’s not an idiot.

That is helpful, thanks. It actually goes back further if you use the chart.

Cargurus tracks price trends by model and brand for 30/90 days or 1 year. Not quite what you wanted but still helpful.

His employer made him do it and he wants to stay employed.

Slide shows got you too, Tom?

I do in fact, especially in scenarios where my young stupidity could aid in someone making a better decision in similar circumstances. Doesn’t make it untrue.

Ok, story time....

You’ve got a bunch of other people saying much the same, but most of us didn’t even know snow was coming until Friday, it wasn’t until Sunday that the models suggested a foot of snowfall, and we had hours of heavy rain Sunday night before the snow started such that pretreating roads would have just salted our local

It was raining heavily before it changed to heavy snow so pretreating roads wasn’t an option.

The forecast changed significantly in 24 hours. Places that were only supposed to receive a couple of inches as of Saturday night ended up with over half a foot or more.

I think if the movie was made 5 (6? time has no meaning now) years ago, it would have been considered a somewhat good comedy. Now? Every behavior in the movie is far too close our reality now to not be predictable.

the movie feels like Idiocracy for our current generation, but with a fair chance to be in mainstream conversations.

When friends are around, I enjoy rolling the rear window down in my 4runner, lifting up the hatch and then standing up through the hole to fiddle with gear on the roof. Because I am a manchild.

Very nice! Insane how much prices shot up on these things once the hype train started 1-2 years ago. Given how bulletproof these drivetrains are good call going for high mileage but well maintained ultra clean...hopefully wasn’t too bad on your wallet as a result. I love how Lexus also has the nifty VIN lookup online
