I guess I’ll go ahead and boldly state that I like it. It is in keeping with the brand’s current design language. The interior looks a little clunky in the pics, but it’s not ungodly.  I have no need nor desire to own one of these, but it’s fine.  Totally fine.

It’s not a matter of it being fast rather than fast enough. Not every car needs to toss you into the back seat when you hit the gas, but it does need to be able to get up to speed in a reasonable amount of time when doing things like merging onto an interstate.

The technical term is "Needle Dick".

if it was just a spring and wheel/tire package I’d agree with you but the 1LE package includes cooling, damper, and drivetrain upgrades you’re going to be unlikely to match via aftermarket upgrades.

People will say the Chevy SS (13k sold), or the Evo 9(8k sold), or the F10 M50(8k sold), but my personal opinion is the Lexus ISF.

Camaro V6 1LE. An almost universally praised enthusiast car overshadowed by the fact that it was as expensive as the base SS with the V8. I go to many track days and SS 1LEs are all over the place, but I have only ever seen one V6 1LE in the wild and it is mine.

You’ll certainly save alot in the maintenance department. I don’t know, acceleration is cool and all, but at the end of day, the car should have at least some emotional feedback for me. Doesn’t even have to be crazy loud, but ICE just has so much personality...Also I find I get a little motion sick in EVs, not sure…
