Umm how? My 08 ISF could easily gap a new scatpack nad now my FBO 12 ISF gaps FBO scat packs even more. Does the same to Mustang’s unless they’re the A10 and even then it’s a closer than you’d think race from a roll. At VIR the heavier ISF on summers matched exactly the time of the E92 M3 coupe (which had semi

I think it has to be an error. I have a 12 ISF(08 ISF before also) and regular get 28-29mpg at 50-65, and 24-25 at 75-85. The RCF is rated at 24 highway but weighs more than both the ISF or IS500.

The last 2 cars I bought from dealerships were a used ISF and CT200H. Both different Lexus dealerships and both effortless and quick. The latter, Pohanka Chantilly Lexus VA even let me borrow the red bow and personally delivered it to my house 60 miles away. My father bought 2 Lexus as well in the past 6 years, and

Golf R seems like a reasonable choice. Same family, great mix of comfort and tech and performance, a hint of reliability. Plus will always be welcome to park next to a RS6, unlike a Focus RS or Type R.

People want simple rugged reliable trucks, that’s why the 4runner and older LX/GX and many other off road capable are on fire all year. Overlanding has increased greatly.

Just another person here who didn’t get their first car until I was a sophomore in college and now have had nearly 30 cars by the time I turned 30.. Don’t want to get into details but not everyone has the same situation. For me it was a legality issue, although money was tight as well.

Wow. Where do you live? I’m in Columbia MD and we’re renting a basic 2 bed+loft 1.5 bath townhouse right now, no garage, tiny open yard for $1800 and it’s still a steal for the area. Cheap but safe neighborhood near a school, 15 min to Baltimore, 30 to DC. Not even inside the 495 beltway in Rockville MD there are

Yes, which is why I wrote “look at the original Infinity FX concept we got, compared to the beauty it was”. Then I put the concept photos first, and the production model second.

It’s not bad looking, but concepts rare equal production. Simple example, look at the original Infinity FX concept we got, compared to the beauty it was. There are far more examples of them going the other way..

Two things to consider though:

Leave the luxury bits for the LX. What it needs is a slimmer/perhaps boxier body, and more usability. Compare it with the 100 and the 200 just looks bloated and forgettable, like a heavier Highlander. They need to make a bigger TRD Pro with a V8 and 8 speed. I see $40k (great looking) 4runners on every other corner,

Just ride a horse.

Exactly. My mom has had 6 different cars and only chosen one of them. She drives maybe 1,500 miles a year so it’s mainly just the backup car my dad gets that she borrows every now and then. My wife has a work Explorer so again, it’s just a backup car really.

I did it for my wife’s birthday this past year. It was used and under $18k. She needed an upgrade from her Yaris and I wanted a better backup car. I knew she liked the model but I wasn’t sure on color, so MIL helped on figuring that out. Funny enough she later told me I could have gotten her anything and she would

All the Hyundai’s I’m ever offered to rent are base Elantra, Sonata, and Accent’s. No Palisades, Santa Fe’s, nor Genesis or Stingers..

The Hyundais you can rent and the ones people buy are pretty different.

“Seriously, when a consumer buys a trim option that costs 2x what the base trim option costs, the consumer has been taken to school, and the supplier is laughing all the way to the bank.”

Sweet setup! Looking for a GX/LX470 myself lately. I swear I don’t think I’ve seen them get half as much attention in the past compared to this summer/fall. Used prices have skyrocketed on them too.

People said the same thing about the Raptor and the Tesla X and those things are absolutely everywhere.

The only thing showrooms are good for are walking around while you’re getting a recall or service done. That’s only done when the dealer is too cheap to give you a loaner even for 30 minutes to grab a bite somewhere. Any car I’ve ever looked at new or used has been parked outside and inside they just take me to the
