Consider the Q50 3.0T. Sure the Red sport is getting all the reviews, but the regular “300" premium version is $40k and a $700 tune will get you to be faster than a stock red sport. Worth a try.

Newsflash, a brand new model on much better and wider summer tires is faster than a model from 2012. Both cars weigh the same and have the same power, but tires make a world of difference and have to hand it to fwd for putting power down more efficiently.

Wow, that’s an ugly car.

What is wrong with you.

I am sure it can be done for cheaper as it has been on the NA/NB/NC..

ND V8 Monster Miata.

This is a stupid comment.

I agree with you. But it’s horrendous.

Thanks! Since then I have added side skits and am contemplating paint matching it to the body in the spring. Sitting on winter setup right now.

My only experience with this is my parents dislike each other and my dad likes to travel. Instead of spending $300k on a separate but decent entry level townhouse in the VA/MD area, he could get a used 40' RV for $120k and save the rest. At least that’s his plan.

Absolutely that would be a more fun car, though if you’re aiming to beat an E46 M3 in 2008 that’s quite a step down IMO. Would it also get great MPG and be as reliable as the ISF? The ISF while a heavy 3750 lbs, also puts down 355whp, easily brought up to 400hp with just headers/catback. It’s absolutelty more of an

5.5 seconds? That’s not quick even a decade ago..

Seems to me like it competes more with the Q50 premium/Charger V8/IS350/A7/Chevy SS.

As a white 29 year old guy I can honestly say I’ve never seen the show, but many of my friends from all backgrounds liked it.

Then get 11 or just update the cluster, the 08-14 ISF has a nicer interior than anything after 14 except the LX and LC500. 335i is much slower unless it’s been DP/JB4'd

Thanks! It is lowered on coilovers, but less than an inch. I mainly did them for ride quality as the 08-10 suspension was a bit harsh.

My mistake, edit 1200 V wagons, 7k total CTS wagons.

Exclusivity because I’ve had a number of cars that are not rare, Cooper, Miata, GTI, G37 coupe and sedans, G35, WRX hatch, C5, etc. It’s nice to drive something not many people know about, and that there isn’t 5+ at every car show/meet. I mean hell, SS sedan is rare and there are 12k in the states. 7k CTSV wagons..

Also, the car I bought was originally listed at the dealer for $35k. After the test drive they lowered it to $33k, and the next morning met me at the $30k I wanted. Even gave me a discount on a bumper to bumper warranty, which shouldn’t have happened on an 08. Worth a shot to haggle!
