At this point, I’d settle for “interesting failure”. Anything so long as the episodes are not too boring to even watch.

I think a fair few fans have been bored by Chibnall’s stories and see this as an improvement. At least I could actually be bothered to tune in when RTD was showrunner.
As other people have said, RTD was also good at finding talented writers to write individual episodes of the show as well which has to be a plus.
The thing is Chibnall hasn’t taken any risks either which is why I have a ton of unwatched episodes on there. Got bored.
The worst bit for me is that it wasn’t even any sort of ambitious failure. I like all the cast but the stories have been so, so boring.
Well he’ll struggle to make his new seasons more bland and boring than Chibnall’s. I just wish Jodie could have had an RTD season.
I loved the malt loaf challenge, they truly are in the canon of shit British desserts I remember from being young (along with those treacle rolls that were 99p, golden syrup rolls that were 99p and arctic roll).
I’m so sorry for his son.
It really bugs me because I love The Matrix. Why can’t assholes commandeer concepts from some shitty misogynistic action film, there’s a ton of them to choose from?
This show’s title sounds like a euphemism for seeing a dude’s “how I met your Father”...
For any Teen Creeps fans who only check in sporadically because there are too many podcasts, they finally did an episode of Sweet Valley University last Wednesday. Also on the Sweet Valley theme - I cannot recommend Double Love highly enough. Two Irish women discuss every Sweet Valley High book (appears once every 2…
Said it elsewhere on here but if I was Lorne I would let the big stars go for budget reasons bar one or two anchors and staff this thing with up and coming comics/improv types for cheaps. At least if you do that, there’s a chance people will tune in, especially if someone gets traction on social media for…
I respect your stance but if it was me, I wouldn’t be able to stop this particular truth volcano from spewing lava....
I appreciate this weirdly pragmatic approach to solving a problem hopefully only 0.0000005% of people will ever have....
It is a horrific nightmare scenario. And not even just one of them! Both!
Not saying that necessarily, just that they’ve never got the full truth of how she died and who was or wasn’t involved and also it’s a fairly recent murder so I think it’s deeply tacky to make a film about it.
Also spare a thought for Meredith Kercher’s family who have had all this dragged back up for them, again.
Is it not still on BBC iPlayer? It certainly was on there a few weeks back....
I generally liked this adaptation but a couple of things really bothered me.
Heh, people literally do make the argument on Reddit that lots of anonymous people post about women cheating so most of the planet’s women must be cheaters....
