It’s interesting that neither Michael or Janet considered trying to lead human lives themselves in this episode. I’m also curious if they are still immortal ageless beings on earth (although maybe Janet would eventually stop working since she’s meant to be a computer?) I assume they are still immortal despite being pow

When Eleanor mentioned her need for a job to Chidi, I was thinking “ask her what kind of Visa she’s on, Chidi!”

I like that the amount wasn’t so much that Eleanor would feel rich and quit the study group to enjoy her money. I bet Janet did that on purpose!

I really loved this episode.

Oh agreed about Sophie Marceau, her whole plotline is quite compelling since you wonder if she was always a sociopath or if it was because of the kidnap as M assumes it was.

I both like and agree with your points except I think Diana Rigg deserves a shoutout for the best female lead performance in the series.

I think I’ve probably seen it (I watched them all a few years ago) but I don’t remember which was the last one.

I was judging by the specials I’d watched and his TDS appearances.

Me and my sister used to record ourselves doing a radio show based on the one from Frasier. I played the female Frasier character and just told everyone to seek counselling while my sister played a number of increasingly deranged callers ;-)

It means sex.

I wish mine was Kale.....

Agreed on Camille, I really liked her performance. Thought Gemma Arterton’s character could have been better served though. I have no problem with them killing her off but the drowned in oil thing didn’t work. Also if you have the villains killing a woman brutally for tripping someone up, it raises the stakes. The oil

I think the key to making a good Bond film might be getting the villain right. Some of them are so goofy. If I was them I would go for some sort of well-intentioned extremist with a bit of complexity to them. Also they need to try and avoid “why don’t you just shoot him?” syndrome.

Judy Garland version wins for me. I’m not particularly into musicals and I still listen to her version of “The Man That Got Away” fairly regularly.

I feel like one or two is fair. I just don’t want that to be how the vast majority of threats are seen off because it is unsatisfying and not that clever. Also on a related note, I’m crossing my fingers that none of these companions turn into the Special-est People In the Whole Damn Multiverse.

Age is a red herring. I bet Carlin could have played colleges right up to the end......

Statistically his 14 year old daughter probably had a point. I work with someone who has an 11 year old daughter and he complains about how “she has changed” and attacks him for being sexist. I would feel bad for him but I’ve heard him defending Weinstein so I’m thinking his kid is on the money.

I just miss them reviewing TV thoughtfully. Some of the writers still do that but I’m not convinced making some of the writers churn out 13 reviews in 2 days of whatever just dropped on Netflix is either fair or a good parcelling out of content......

I make no comment on anyone’s politics but I’m sad so much of the reference humour and punning has vanished from the comments. What’s the point of it all if people aren’t even going to make obscure references to throwaway scenes from Primer or the original Suspira?.....

The Teen Creeps episode about the Sweet Valley High books set in London about a werewolf killer is hilarious.
