What do we think of reclining your seat? I’m of the opinion that reclining your seat on a plane makes you a sociopath. You’re basically telling the person behind you that, while I’ve never met you, I hate you.

RIGHT?!? Reclining your seat gives you like a barely perceptible amount of extra comfort, but is hugely annoying to the person behind you, who either has to sit with your seat in their face, or recline their own seat and cause the same problem for the person behind them, causing a shitty chain reaction. It’s awful.

I’ve never understood why people need to recline their seats on flights, unless they have, like, some kind of back issue.

My biggest one: if you recline your seat as far back as it goes on a coach/economy flight, you are a goddamn monster.

It’s not just about personalities for me, though. She is unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. As far as I know, there is some kind of code of conduct that judges are supposed to follow. This chick has to be breaking it. She is also judgmental about personal issues that many times have nothing to do with the case. I

Milian is smarter, too. I am getting very tired of Judy bragging about her lack of techno skills. Giving tech-savvy older women a bad name.

Thank you. Judge Judy is downright disrespectful.

I feel like this is the appropriate place to tell this story: I dressed up as RBG on Halloween, and SO MANY people asked me if I was Judge Judy. Her influence on the American psyche should not be underestimated.

This, so much! I bought my house in 2008 so I didn’t get as fucked but I’m still underwater or maybe right at break even on it after 8 years of payments. I also graduated college during the recession with bleak job prospects, years of wage stagnation, a mass of student loans! I’m at the perfect age with this .The most

I feel you. Bought in 2007, and sold last week— at a loss. We considered backing out of the deal a number of times, but we can see that the market wasn’t going to rebound enough to net us a profit any time soon, so we sucked it up in order to get out. Now we’re living with my mother-in-law for the time being in order

I bought my house in 2007.

I think not having the “rooting for the characters feeling” was a big part of the experience and what made me enjoy the movie so much. We know what the financial crisis meant in the real people world rather than a business world. Even though you want to be rooting for someone (it’s a movie!), these characters

Well, in this particular case it would have been a good start to take the Actual Woman who was a very big part of the actual subprime mortgage crisis and cast an Actual Woman to play her instead of just giving her role to Steve Carrell.

wow, that is rather fucked for them to not include Whitney if she is such a big part of the book.
