If you’re still using Samsung Messages, you should use a different messenger app just off GP. Samsung Messages is awful. Textra is my app of choice - I like the customization options - but Android Messages is also great and will let you text people from your PC.

Being gay doesn’t exempt men from being sexist. I don’t know what his sexuality has to do with anything.

THIS. ALL OF THIS.

Syracuse is a private university. Purdue is public. Rightly or wrongly, they’ve got very different limits for what they can do. Syracuse could basically fire or rescind anyone for any reason other than a protected one; Purdue, as a government actor, can’t fire someone for what’s ruled as ‘free speech.’

Superficially, I agree with you - people don’t always vote in their best interests; sometimes, they choose not to do so because of the greater good.

How on earth is anyone supposed to diversify schools while not considering race?

The number of people who are advocating this here truly baffle me. Loans are a burden; they make it more difficult for people to begin their post-graduation lives. Yes, I’m a millennial too, with about $40K of student loan debt I’m chipping away at as well; if I can help the younger generation avoid borrowing gobs of

This is my guess as well. He didn’t know the game, through no fault of his own.

I’ve often wondered whether universities give ED applicants less excellent packages because they know those students are locked in. I wouldn’t advise any low-income student who needed to compare financial aid packages to apply ED.

Hell, I honestly don’t blame them. I’m imagining that those are the more savvy ones. I love my husband to the moon and back, but I’m only a year younger than him (early 30s) and I’ve been ready for pretty much every adult life stage earlier than he has, often by several years.

Debt free from loans, period. For example, at Harvard and Columbia, families who make less than about $65,000 have no parent contribution required, and parents who make $65,000-$120,000 a year are only required to contribute about 10% of their income to their child’s education. Both of those schools don’t require

Not just scholarships. Given how he’s eligible for full Pell, he should’ve applied to some colleges that meet 100% of his financial need. With a 4.5 GPA, if he has even a reasonably decent SAT score he probably would’ve been admitted to top places that would’ve paid his way. Personally, depending on his individual

And the thing is, his treatment only bears superficial resemblance to Coming to America.

“We’d have paid you if you won...but you lost. Now go home and brush that tooth.”

This was the only movie I would’ve accepted as a challenger for Coming to America. I still think Coming to America is the quintessential black movie, but Harlem Nights is pretty close.

What? I’m a black woman and with my black female friends 25-50% of our conversation might be verbatim quotes from Coming to America. It’s centered around men, for sure, but it’s not a bro movie - and yes, there’s plenty of love amongst the sistas.

Nah. I love Waiting to Exhale but it ain’t Coming to America.

I live in Seattle (actually, not even...I live in the suburbs of Seattle) and I wish I was paying $2,000 a month.

“He May Be Your DogBut He’s Wearing My Collar” made be bust out laughing.
