But that’s...wrong. You can totally do a D&C to end a pregnancy. It is the the most common way to end a pregnancy in the first trimester. I don’t know why you think your spouse’s credentials would matter more than your own, but neither of them matter in this case because you’re incorrect.

Well...yes and no.

OK, but getting into petty fights on social doesn’t honor that ‘generations deep’ legacy. Getting petty mad because a fictional character with a generally neutral to positive representation wore letters a few times also isn’t a good look. and I say that as a black Greek myself.

Interestingly, AKA studiously avoided commenting on that directly.

I’m a Delta and I agree with this. I don’t really see what the problem is - she’s an actress playing a fictional character. She’s also been playing an AKA since season 1, so I’m not sure why the outrage just showed up NOW.

This is the grip of racism right here, though, because the receipt and the box should be enough. What do you think, that they stuffed another TV in that box specifically made for a specific TV?

Dude, I’ve lived all over the country, and while it’s true that every region has its special brand of racism...there’s no denying that the South (and Texas in particular) has an extra special brand. History bears that out.

Normally I wouldn’t hold it against a person 10 years later, either, but he made recent tweets (as in this week) attempting to excuse and explain away this behavior. I’m in the industry and I’ve done panels about games. It is stressful, but for fuck’s sake it doesn’t make you denigrate your own fans.

Read the complaint again. It specifically says that the men were delegating their responsibilities to female employees so they could play games for long hours. I work in games and yes, we’re all crazy about games here - women included - but you do have to do actual other work sometimes.

Read the complaint again.

Also you don’t get a cookie for paying people fairly - that’s what you’re supposed to do. Simply saying that you do it is not evidence of proactive steps to ensure that.

...that’s actually not what root-level means. Root level actually means the HIGHEST level of something.

This is kind of a hot take and a stretch, because it misinterprets the kind of preservation Spencer is talking about and it conflates ownership with preservation.

It’s weird that you say “Microsoft would never do that” when they literally are doing that because they own Minecraft. They could’ve chosen to cut that off as soon as they bought it, or they could’ve chosen to phase it out quietly in the first year or two. It’s been like 5-6 years since Microsoft bought Minecraft

Yeah, that’s me too. I crush the pop culture stuff but I don’t care about art lmao

Not everyone on Jeopardy is an academic nerd, but I’ve been perusing the J! Archives because of this post and the games questions are actually relatively obscure given the kinds of questions Jeopardy normally asks. Many of the questions, especially in the $400-600 range, are pretty easy.

“That’s just the way it is” is such a bad excuse for keeping the status quo. There are many things that humans have done throughout history, and continue to do, that are bad ideas.

I don’t know what kind of fake introverts you seeing, but us real ones been hiding out treasuring our last precious days of being left alone

For 18 hours a day, 6 days a week, for 23 years...that’s about $4.23/hour.

She did a Vogue shoot. It’s a fashion magazine. It literally exists so that people can talk about how people dress and wear their makeup or don’t. If she doesn’t want people to talk about that, that’s fine, but maybe don’t pose for Vogue?
