Thank you! Very similar situation for me; severe cystic acne as a teenager and it affected my self-esteem immeasurably. It makes me roll my eyes when people act like acne experiences are all of the hormonal variety. Some of us have to go on very serious medications. I still see scars every time I look in the mirror. 

I think the framing (as this huge, eath shattering reveal) is offensive, but zooming in on the header image it looks like Kendal does suffer from a moderate (obviously there are worse cases) amount of acne and some skin damage.
