I found her comments to beyond annoying as The Color Purple is probably one of the most underrated films to revive critical acclaim. I bet she’s never even seen it, nominated for 11 Oscars and won 0. Just because you did see the film does mean it doesn’t exist. Erasing women of color from the cinema won’t win her any…

I agree, black women have always gotten the short end of the stick when they choose “culture over personal happiness.” Unfortunately, a black woman’s dating options are scarce and we can’t afford to wait forever.

I actually remember a publication that praised her bratty and disgusting behavior as rebelling against the perceived sterotype that white women are timid, meek and mild......I’m still laughing!!!!
