In tabletop RPG’s (I don’t know how early but I do know 3rd edition DnD did this real bad) there were and still are very bad issues with the opposite effect, a lot of skill choice but a ton of dead ends or wasted skill points that unless you know for the outset what you are doing, you are effectively penalized. This

Depending on if you are playing co-op or not and if your partner is any good, it’s either bearly easier than Hollow Knight or another notch of difficulty above it. The co-op allows you to revive your ally with 1 hit point remaining if they can Parry your ghost before it leaves the screen, otherwise you’re starting

Slowbeef isn't there... Oh. (Not that I expected him to be there, he's kinda niche despite his importance in Video Game YouTube being a thing.)

The intro reminded me I need to go back and try to play Kings Field again. Also, Cowboy-Souls sounds like the GOTY, every year in my dreams.

In case you (or anyone else for that matter) didn’t know, the switch port got rid of entirely the dreaded time limit missions and replaced them with collecting amount of unique items. So here's hoping the second follows in that direction.

Forget that, we are T-spin boys now.

Counterpoint, if you always wanted to see the end of the game but can’t deal with the difficulty and have no friends to play through, totally take part in this event regardless of you’ve finished it alone. While I agree it trivializes the game, the content is cool and deserves to be seen, even if it's just in a co-op

Have a friend who works at a Converse store and they took a picture the PR flyer sent around. Thought it was worth a laugh on the quote “Kawaii” and definition of Kawaii in the next sentence.  Someone got paid to write that and that makes me happy.

This game just makes me more excited for Shin Megami Tensei V. I can’t wait to play it the same day as the Final Fantasy VII remake in the far off future of 20XX with my great grand kids. Oh well, guess I should go and try to actually finish one of these impossibly long (for me anyway) game.

It’s funny that I actually have seen most of those but never really thought of them as McElroy brothers Let’s Play, (Other than Peacecraft but I actually just forgot that series existed) but instead as Polygon Let’s Play as they were so not always there (In the case of Awful Squad and Jackbox) and they had a rotating

Have the McElroy Brothers done any Let’s Play?

I was hoping someone in the comments was going to bring up Chip & Ironicus. All their stuff is great and fun to watch and so much of a mood lifter. It reminds me of showing games to friends and just playing though them on the couch together. Their Metal Gear Solid V brings a smile to my face every time it updates,

While I agree the series is for kids, saying five year olds is the target audience is a bit much. If you are old enough to be able to read the sheer amount of text that comes with a Pokemon game, I think you can understand basic concepts like type match-ups. Definitely not all of them (Psychic beats poison because

I know I am in the grays but if someone does see this I’m hugely advocating for Hi-Score Girl. While it does have love triangle trope-y stuff as the main course, the background of Japanese arcade games through the ages is very interesting to watch. It is a period piece for video games, and I don’t think I’ve ever

What I’m interested in is if the combat is okay or passable if you are higher leveled/more upgraded. If not, then I would agree that would be a disappointment. If it is more playable as you get more powerful, I think that is perfect in the constant struggle as a vampire you would be faced with.

Bravely Default game where all the classes are different Sony IP’s would be a way better crossover then a Smash Brothers knock off ever could be.

I don’t know if you still have that PS2 or if your set up still allows it. But a lot of those Shin Megami Tensei (Including Persona) games are real cheap new on Amazon still. Like 20 dollars and below cheap. If you can afford them I’d say snatch those up cause those might dissappear soon. Lastly dont get Persona 3,

I always thought it was interesting how a convincing “bad” game AI is really hard to do because it is way easier to have it just know everything about what the player is doing and counter it. This is a step above that though because the trick is to make the player think the enemy is competent and then have it be bad

I’ve been interested in Labo since it’s announcement but I had no idea about the custom game stuff. I have relatives who are super into maker stuff and never really put 2 and 2 together about the potential of opening the Joycons up to mass consumption. This is everything I would want for that stuff, short of them just

I don’t know if anyone has clarified but, yes it does come with Plague of Shadows. They meant that it launched as Treasure Trove for the increased price on Switch that coincided at the same time that Spector of Torment released.
