I don’t listen to or support her, but I have a genuine problem with the idea that not graduating college, being divorced, or having a failed business are things that make someone not worth listening to.

I don’t know that that is completely  true.  You can’t serve alcohol pretty much anywhere under 18, but that’s usually very easy to get around; another server just runs your drinks from the bar for you. It doesn’t mean you can’t work at the location itself, just that you can’t physically serve the drinks.

No - outside of fancy restaurants that work in teams like that, in low to mid range places you typically start off as a server. You might start off as a junior server (getting less tables in shittier sections, getting lunch or the slower shifts in general) until you can pass a menu or drink quiz, but it’s not…

It is, sure - and not just for young women. And it’s wrong every time. But a 25 or 35 year old woman is a lot more equipped to deal with this shit than a 15 year old CHILD.

The downside is being fed alcohol and drugs and sexually harassed or assaulted by your coworkers or even customers.

Calling her Tuna Labia does a massive disservice to Tuna and Labia, neither of whom have done anything in the slightest to deserve it.

If you want something that is safely reusable and doesn’t cause plastic pollution.... don’t use plastic bags at all. There are a lot of other options that are cost effective and washable and environmentally friendly.

Yes.  The real answer is... don’t use Ziploc bags as your every day storage method in the first place. 

In addition, Men’s rowing isn’t an NCAA sport; women’s rowing is, mostly due to Title IX. Men’s rowing functions completely outside of the NCAA all together and their championships, etc are run by the Intercollegiate Rowing Association.

Celebrate it whenever you want to for candy and trick or treating, but Halloween/Samhain is an actual holiday for many people and a religious observance. You don’t get to, for instance, change Christmas just to make it more convenient.
