I don’t know where you get that idea. I don’t think you ever listened to the show at all.

Not sure where you’re getting the whole “wanting to feel superior” part from (though I imagine it’s projection from the same part of you that’s calling them “flyover country towns”), PHA is just about the least-confrontational show imaginable.

Umm....no, the audience was/is primarily college-educated folks (ex, older professors) in the midwest who use NPR as their only escape from the neverending storm of Fox news, Charlie Sykes, etcetcetc in the area. Practically everyone I knew from the college community grew up with it, and practically every Republican

Rightly so, her weight has little to nothing to do with her being a complete and utter shit person.

I love movie theaters that tell adults behave like adults or get out.

Nice of you to clarify, but your point was well illustrated and clear—yet people still misunderstood it somehow.

Stop blaming shit on my generation. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some avocado toast to eat.

I know!!!!! Im fr so hype. I cant wait until next year

This would make the U.S. Open watchable. *GOLD WHISPER* “Jones is going with a three-wood here, interesting choice... setting up his shot.. oh my. Ladies and gentlemen, Tim Jones didn’t watch the fairway behind him and is now having his throat torn out by a grizzly bear...usually that’s a thirteenth-hole hazard but

“so he had every right to put hands on him.”

I think this is an important perspective, and was honestly more eye-opening for me as a man than the article you’re responding to. But, the article itself still got me to really assess myself on the issue, and isn’t that a good thing? I’ve seen harsh criticisms of every apology from popular men, and I’ve seen harsh

Wait, I think I get it. Calling yourself trash is how men deal with the fact that they actually like patriarchy and misogyny because it benefits them. So they show shame and that covers up for the fact that they still want dominance. If you say “I’m trash” and do a little performative feminism, you can avoid changing

I dunno, but between this jamoke and Stephen Miller, I feel great about how I look at 37. Not to mention the fact that I feel great about myself because I’m not a horrible person.

It saddened me to see so many people commenting in the other story that they don’t believe Takei’s accuser, even when they believe accusers in other cases.

I for one welcome our new, ample-bottomed overlords.

Nice! I had a similar experience with film. A movie was either an artistic masterpiece or total garbage. Now I just watching a movie, even if it’s not great. There’s always something to like.

We always rise to the top. It’s great to see so many progressive and young Black mayors. I hope they are able to enact change and eventually go to Congress and beyond. We need people who will fight for our communities and basic freedoms.

Man(!), reading this article, there was so much I wanted to add to what you wrote, then I kept reading and... well, f*** it...
