Yeah, it was likely grade 1 tear my doc friend who looked at it briefly said. Typically 2-3 weeks recovery time. And you are right 400 is not particularly impressive for somebody who has been lifting as long as I have and is 260 pounds. If I would have known I was going to be accused of lying I wouldn’t have posted, I

By modifying the pressing motion to be more over my lower chest and slowing down the movement so it doesn’t strain my shoulders. This is not my first rodeo, it wasn’t a complete tear, and I didn’t say there wasn’t some manageable pain. Cool points for you trying to call somebody out on the ‘net though.

Aside from tearing my shoulder a bit a few weeks ago, pretty well. I don’t really ever max out, but hit a new 3 rep PR (well “local” PR, I was moving more weight in college 20 years ago) of 391 on Wednesday morning.  Also despite looking pretty gnarly with the subdermal bleeding, the shoulder seems to be completely

Man I miss Sheetz. 2 Sausage and egg biscuits with double cheese, onion, and a slice of tomato every morning on the way in to work.  Double meat if I was hung over.

Yep, been meal prepping like this for years without issue.

This happened to a friend of mine in high school. He was the passenger and the block of concrete came down and hit him right in the chest.  He was a football player and we lifted together often and he told me that the doctor said if he wasn’t so built around the chest the impact probably would have killed him.  People

Fall is here! You know when the weather gets cold and maybe it starts to snow outside, my family likes to get to the good parts on a food recipe blog as quick as possible, and I am here to show you how I do it!

As much as I hate Wilson, its a great technique if you have longer stronger arms.

Oh yeah if you aren’t going in there and doing some 1,000 rep GVT program or something then go for it. I’ve probably just been to too many meathead gyms anyways.  Agreed on the curls. I don’t even curl in my own rack at home lol

Ever since I built my garage into a solid home gym I’ve been getting back to my college powerlifting strength. My goal has been to get back to benching 400 (raw, I’ve already done it for reps with my Mark Bell Slingshot) by my 40th birthday in January. Haven’t tested my max in about 4 months but I should be close. Did

While I agree the power rack is great for benching (hell my home gym is basically just a power rack with a ton of accessories), unless the gym is empty, benching in the power rack at a gym is a good way to get everybody pissed at you.

Somewhere out there, there is a picture of some hungover 6'3" 250lb dude with a beard dressed as Supergirl doing the walk of shame with his superhero boots in his hands. That person may or may not have been me.

Not only have I seen and eaten a full size Mr. Goodbar, after visiting Hershey Park when I was a kid, my parents purchased a novelty size Mr. Goodbar (and a Krackle) that was easily as big as a small pan pizza.

We did that at our Halloween party last year, we just went to the liquor store and got the cheap stuff when they were having sales.  It was a hit.

Agreed, I’ve only eaten at one once in my life (years ago at Reston Town Center after a particularly tiring skate at their outdoor ice rink) and it was shit. We were one of only two groups in there during the late lunch hours. It was sad.

Yes. I’ve been saying this for years since Taco Bell started saying that shit in their commercials a long time ago.

I don’t think its ready.  I drank my beer out of a straw on Saturday since my mask wouldn’t handle cans.  Got chirped to hell and back.

His parents were killed outside a theater right?

I’m a transplant in Alabama. I don’t care about college football at all, but I subside on the tears of Roll Tide’rs each fall.
