He linked to the posts in the first sentence. That’s fine.

I’ll probably still play the game, because there looks to be a lot of new interesting features in this year’s release, but it’s a shame about the microtransactions. Not a deal breaker for me as I won’t spend money on them anyways, and not entirely unexpected, but still sucks.

I...have no words for this

For an extra $10, even!

This is such an awesome story— thanks for sharing! You did a great job capturing how gaming can have an impact on people of all ages (:

Man, I used to play Roblox all the time as a kid. Before Minecraft came around, this was what we all played. I was never able to build any complex worlds or anything, as the platform to do so is surprisingly complex. But it was a great game to play when you just wanted to chill with others.

Something tells me this is going to be used for a lot more than just comedy!

I completely agree. The writing was terrible, regardless.

Exactly. There is a line, and I agree with Heather’s thoughts on how Heavy Rain portrayed black people. That...definitely could have been handled better, to say the least.

I think it has to do with the fact that because this isn’t an especially diverse game, those stereotypes are more of an issue. If this game was telling a story that included characters of a variety of races, and portrayed them as complex human beings with backgrounds and motives, then it’s not as much of an issue

His work isn’t perfect, but outside of Telltale Games, you don’t see developers making these types of linear, story driven games in this format very often. It’s definitely different and not for everyone, but I think his work is important for a healthy industry, and I’m glad that Detroit: Become Human exists. There’s

Superhot is coming to PS4?!

So, where do the F2P elements come in?

Max, from Life is Strange! I would have someone with whom I can practice photography and watch Final Fantasy movies. We would get breakfast at shitty diners together, too. Not to mention, she can rewind time, which is badass.

This would make so much sense on the Switch. Probably won’t happen, but a man can dream.

I’m pretty sure for me it was Hot Wheels: Emergency Patrol for the GameBoy Advance. I ordered it through a Scholastic Book Order in elementary school. If it wasn’t that, it must have been Animal Crossing for the GameCube. I must have been like, 7 or 8. Good times.

Hey Nathan: have you heard any word on a release date/window yet?

We had audio issues at the theatre I watched it in, too, during that same part. Must have been the stream.

I think this is an awesome idea and can’t wait to see how it will turn out, although I realize I’m in the minority here.
