Just saw Nightshift Nurses post. Didn't realize it was the same studio! It's almost like a reboot, I guess!

This reminds me of a VERY similar iOS game called Dreamscape, released a few years back. It's essentially the same concept as this— a dying man exploring his childhood dreams. It's even powered in Unreal Engine. Granted, that game is far inferior to Dream Revenant, but after playing both back to back, it makes me…
I play videogames because they let me visit a world I could never visit, and do things I could never realistically or legally do. They immerse me in their stories, which is the most important part of the game for me, and better yet, they last a lot longer than movies do. I read ablut them here because I love looking…
I was kind of enjoying the (admittedly limited) video content they made available. I'm glad they still are keeping the Halo content, but now they need to start getting more developers on board with console exclusives (as you put it—where's their upper hand now?). I'm not partial to either console, but from a business…
I wonder what this means for Quantum Break?
Right, but it wasn't developed under Nintendo, it was developed under Ubisoft I believe. I'm referring to games that Nintendo either owns some franchise rights to or vanilla first party games that they decide to localize.
A lot of people thought that covering Tharja with the purple curtain and hiding her—ahem—assets— actually suggested that she wasn't wearing anything.
Once the Vita gets some of it's market confidence back, Idk why developers wouldn't try to include this stuff, you know?
Hell yeah it would! If it was done right. I think that would also be a great way to bridge the gap between the systems more while also proving the Vitas power.
Cross-Play ala Wipeout 2048!
So now they basically HAVE to localize Yo-Kai watch. Numbers don't lie, folks.
While we're dreaming, a Vita version too, please!
While this is speculation on my part, there could very well just be a deal between Nintendo and Platinum (who, if memory serves me correctly, also made that The Wonderful 101 game)
Yeah, you could certainly say thats up for debate!
Apologies—wasn't very clear! As others stated above, I was referring to how they currently own the exclusive rights to the franchise (including publishing), even though Tecmo Koei develops it. (This differs from The situation with Bayonetta, which is simply an exclusive. Platinumgames still owns and develops that…
I have—I'm only referring to what you might consider "First Party Games"... Games that heavily carry the Nintendo name. Bayonetta is still technically a third party game, although it is notable that it's a console exclusive!
No, I mean I'm just surprised they didn't cut that particular scene. God, if that game hadn't been localized at all, I swear I would have made myself learn Japanese in order to play it.
it was definitely for the sake of their image, though.
Wouldn't you say that the curtain made it more suggestive? I thought that, anyways. Thought it was kind of funny. Surprised they didn't just cut it all together, honestly!
Since Nintendo will never publish a game onto another console, however, and considering how they have exclusive publishing rights to the franchise, I can't imagine seeing the game anywhere else. If Nintendo didn't want to publish the Fatal Frame games for whatever reason, they would have to sell the franchise.
