It’s whatever the corporate equivalent of small dick energy is.

Wait, you’re trying to tell me Paramount took a beloved franchise, with a rich and deep history of existing well established, and fan loved canon. And then just decided to toss it all out of the window, and instead choose to create an entirely new timeline as a giant slap in the face to the core fans. Those who would

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and To The Moon. Brothers had lush, awesome graphics for its time and a sad story while To The Moon had retro graphics, but poignant story and a soundtrack that would bring tears just listening to certain tracks.

They’re going to wait months, after the holiday cash rush, to redesign the god awful economy they’ve set up, if they do at all. I cannot think of a single AAA title F2P or otherwise with a more predatory monetization scheme than this game. It makes Overwatch and Ubisoft look generous.

“is the boldest & most vividly personal Hollywood sequel since The Last Jedi”

I liked the opening. Things I agree on: It was long, a bit longer than I expected. Things I disagree on: Enemy being from Halo Wars 2 is a troll move - not at all, it’s a great game, and Banished are much better enemies than the Covenant. Covenant died to make Banished possible, and Banished are much more engaging,

Sounds like the campaign is doing a lot of Halo 1 but the novelisation of it that focused a lot more on the UNSC attempting to survive on the ring and the resulting guerrilla war as well as giving 117 some slight depth.

So, let’s see.

The samurai armor is inherently very stupid, some color would go miles towards creating a set of armor that doesn’t make you look like a twelve year old boy with no sense of style or taste.

I scrolled down, half expecting to see this:

I always see/hear Hang em’ High being regarded as one of the best maps but I don’t think I’ve ever had a good time on that map. It’s so big and open and just weird.

They shouldn’t. If they decided that’s how they were gonna end the Skywalker saga, I can hate them all I want but it was their decision and they made it. I don’t ever want to see any of these characters again.  Not even Babu Frick.  None of them.

I think the best case scenario is a press release that says, “We consider those stories and characters to now be part of the Legends universe and look forward to adding new stories in their place.”

And the nostalgia they’re mining is with 30-40 year olds that played Halo LAN games in college, people who now have jobs, families, and other responsibilities.  We don’t have the time to play through 100-200 hours of matches to unlock the sweet unlock we bought the pass for.  It should be structured to where you’re

Yikes, that’s a terrible take and you should feel bad for it.

I’ve always maintained that the actual mission design in Halo 5's campaign was quite good, it was the story that was ass.

As to why it would make sense to create an AI based off of one who has literally declared herself dictator of the galaxy _and_ has actually achieved the control to some degree, I couldn’t tell you.
