Uproar over cultural appropriation is BS 99% of the time. I think culture if too often conflated with ethnicity as well. It’s natural for culture to spread.

The CG in this trailer looked really bad to me, or really green screeny, or something. Not great. 

Is it too much to ask for a thrown punch to look like it was ever going to connect? I’ve been spoiled on martial arts films for sure but I will never not be annoyed be things like this. If nobody is going to throw a proper punch don’t bother!

I totally get that movies are more than just what appears on-screen some times, and I don’t have any real problem with Black Panther being nominated because it’s an award show, but Black Panther probably wasn’t even the best comic book movie last year, let alone one of the best pictures made.
