Good design should be function over form. That's why touchscreens in cars are stupid. They don't let you blindly control them, they make you take your eyes off the road to press a button. So now they're designing a bad solution to a bad design trend... Instead of just going for good physical buttons. Meh.

In this price class I would always go for a phone that is as bare bones as possible. Nokia is the go to brand for me. Not that their phones are amazing. Cameras often suck.
