Alibaba’s ownership is another complicated story. There’s the public face and then there’s the integration with the Chinese government. Like Huawai there is a lot of push-back when you suggest Alibaba may have correlation to the Chinese government and its security apparatus but if you research the company it’s pretty…
I only know about them because they constantly sell counterfeit products of the company I worked for. I used to be in charge of trying to get them and Amazon to stop selling the counterfeits. Difference is that Amazon would actually do something about the counterfeit seller/item. Alibaba would tell us to f@ck off.
He said “no compelling reason” and I offered a compelling reason. Does it overcome the problems/costs of an EV? Probably not, but it’s still pretty damn compelling if you aren’t a sociopath.
CO2 is orders of magnitude more pressing and dangerous than any other pollutant currently involved in any form of car manufacturing.
Range is not the metric that developers ought to be focusing on anyway. It is charging times. People are waiting for battery technology to allow them to charge up in the same length of time it takes for them to fill their gas tank. Range plays a part, sure, but people are more concerned about fitting an electric into…
Exactly.
They’re beyond massive, and very real. If I understand correctly they’re bigger than Amazon.
Someone on FCA needs to offer you a pension plan for the idea alone.
It still looks sketchy as fuck to me, but its legit and huge
I thought the same thing until a few months ago when I found out they were actually bigger than Amazon
Yeah, I think there has been an expectation that there would be massive breakthroughs in battery chemistry, allowing for greater range and equivalent pricing to ICE. Just because you throw a bunch of money at something doesn’t mean you’ll solve the problem.
Por que no los dos?
Years ago, on a whim, I went to see Paramore and No Doubt. I love No Doubt but I wasn’t sure what I was getting with Paramore. It ended up being a GREAT show.
“*Jordmaniac should cash in on the trend and offer different color options for the covers.”
Agreed. Part of the hate is likely from the yellow not color coordinating with the rest of the car. Owners can easily wrap them in faux carbon fiber film.
FCA should cash in on the trend and offer different color options for the covers.
I wish I lived in a world where leaving plastic protective bits on a car wasn't called a "mod."
Are their lives that awesome that this the only thing that bothers them, or are they just so miserable every little thing bothers them?
I wish my life was so awesome that the biggest problem I had was whether or not other people were removing yellow plastic protective bits from their cars.
