I stopped watching his "celebrity" interviews years ago. At this point, I don't really know why he bothers. Well, aside from money.

It's a 30 minute show w/ commercials. What do you want from the guy? Depending on the guest, he actually attempts to have a real conversation instead of exchanging sound bites and unfortunately that's not going to work with his format. We're in the 21st century which means if I have to go online to finish his show…
Even beyond the fight, and the awful inconsistencies, Showtime just doesn't make any sense. In the episode before we see our girl get an ass kicking like she's never gotten before by something seemingly more vicious and ferocious than ever before. The end of that episode, with Giles and Willow talking about the…
So……..
I have no problem with Showtime wanting to be about having the girls begin to believe in Buffy but how they get us there is a joke. You can't do the previous episode and then have Buffy role up her sleaves and dust it in some badly constructed ruse that comes off like an episode of Charmed.
Huh???
The Uber Vamps never made any sense. You can't introduce this thing as practically unbeatable, and then have it killed with Buffy's bare hands in the next friggin episode. It's just terrible writing. You can't argue it. Someone commented earlier SPOILER SPOILER correctly that by the end of the show…
I don't necessarily agree w/ the full circle/perspective argument. I really beleive that's a coverup for the writers trying to recapture some of the Early Years mojo. I may be wrong. If that's the case, I still don't think it works. It doesn't come off that way on the screen. I think you have dig for that…
Confused….
Haven't we done "Him" before? It was much better in S2. This is one of the many reasons this season sucks. Going back to the high school was a mistake. I know I'm going to creamed for this, but people that pine for the early years of Buffy are similar to the same people who when they were 22-23 waxed…
@tecumseh
@ natty
And, just to spell it out, when I say she's depressed because she's brought back to life, lets explain, AGAIN, why that would be so colossally shitty.
Ummm, Buffy lays out all her issues to Spike behind the Magic Box in like the 3rd or 4th episode. Its a HEARTBREAKING speech. Heartbreaking. It's pretty clear. Do you want to be treated like some idiot and have it written in every week as if you're some first timer that's never watched the show???
A lot of shows do…
After a BRUTAL existence where people get murdered around me on a daily basis, I worry about EVERYONE ALL THE TIME, and there's no escape because THIS IS MY FATE, I finally get my reward w/ ya know, happiness and peace in the purist, truest sense for ALL eternity, and that gets ripped away. Oh well! Yeah, four or…
If I had the THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD on my shoulders EVERYDAY, on top of my own baggage which is A LOT of baggage, I'm still kind of a kid and I die KNOWING EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK, go to heaven and then get brought BACK to the previous existence even though I had EARNED being done and was HAPPY being done, yeah…
!!!!!SPOILERS!!!!!!
And back to them adding Spike to Angel, they wanted to make the show more palatable or they were trying to end with a big bang. It seemed phony every time I watched it.
itself……
!!!!!!!!!SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!
And to Scrawler, Spike should have never made it out of Buffy S5. In order to enjoy him on Buffy, you have to forgive and forget a lot. And then they commit one of the BIGGEST MISTAKES OF S7 and give him a soul. I'm sorry, it's just cheap. It gives Buffy something to work of off in S7. …
!!!!!!!SPOILERS!!!!!!!!
"Often times, people have to compromise something to become a part of the institution they want to be a part of. Angel was promised the ability to more efficiently fight evil by joining W&H." Radaar
!!!Spoilers!!!
Angel S5 is a shit fest until the last 4 episodes and even then I had to pretend I didn't watch the first 3/4 of the season to enjoy it.
Where do we begin? Aside from Angel, are you going to honestly sit there and tell me any of those characters would be seduced by the Evil Lawyers??? Angel's…
Add on……
S6 is about making mistakes and the consequences that come w/ it. It's a powerful theme. What the hell is Angel about?
Comparing shows
I honestly don't know how we can continue to to compare both shows. Angel on its best day, has never touched Buffy, not counting S7. Even comparing Angel S3 to Buffy S6 isn't fair or equivalent.
!!!!!SPOILERS!!!!!!!!
This is clearly Angel's best season, and it finishes with a wimper. It turns into a…
