Since the 2000 election we’ve been on a course of politics colliding with, and becoming indistinguishable from, satire.

Okay, I watched all the snapchat videos and I didn’t really hear him include the line “I made that bitch famous.” Did anyone else?
I mean, I wouldn’t bet on it or anything but people do some fucked up shit when they think they’re in love.
I was bummed when Frances got married because it seemed mostly to just get away from her family which isn’t always the best way to start a marriage. There’s no way a judge will side with the ex though. It’s her father’s who died when she was very young. No way unless there’s something in writing somewhere.
Honestly, it seems like Frances’s life started going downhill as soon as she re-connected with Courtney. I’m sure Courtney is enjoying all of this in a perverse way, as it gets her name back in the press.
If Courtney thinks it’s a good idea, Frances, it's probably not.
Did you feel at all like it dragged a bit at the 2/3 part of the season? The pilot is seriously one of the best hours of TV I’ve ever seen. But the drugged episode really irritated me and it got a little slow there until speeding suddenly toward the end.
I used to love Virgin America, but having flown them just a week ago, I’m surprised they even made it onto the list. I really don’t understand what’s wrong with our airlines. I’m always excited when I can get a ticket on a Cathay Pacific flight domestically (it’s only happened twice) because it was like sashaying…
I hate to break it to you guys but your airports are the absolute worst too!
Eleven police officers have been shot in Dallas, and four killed. It is good and right for Jezebel to cover the shooting deaths of persons of colour by police in detail: that they receive personal, detailed attention in the media that they were denied in life. And yet I think that the deaths of these police officers…
So if your pregnant in public it’s a performance?
I have always thought this. We may be the minority, but you're not alone.
And the other people had been living their lives for years with loves, relationships, connections, hopes, and dreams—and all that was taken from them. So that’s less tragic than a kid?
This is what mob justice looks like the 21st Century. As a society, are we sure we want to hold people criminally liable for how their words could affect someone? This is a sad story, and there is clearly something wrong with this girl, but finding her criminally liable for another kids choice (and it was his…
What she did was no doubt awful. But this sets terrifying precedent. If I text you that you should murder somebody, am I liable if you do? How much of what we say in our private text conversations can be held against us? (To say nothing of the fact that she’s clearly mentally ill herself.)
I may be in love with the camera operator. Not fazed in the least. So cool.
