I mean he was literally fired from Fantastic Beasts because of this; his career is not literally “over” (and it may rebound a bit due to the verdict) but it’s obviously suffered quite a lot

Hahaha never saw the whole movie but I honestly love that random 2000s movies like this and I Am Legend are getting sequels. Do I, Robot next

Yeah I feel like I’m going crazy here. Maybe my brain is so Marvel-brained that all CGI looks fine to me but I legit thought that was makeup lol.

I want to live in Tom Cruise’s apartment in Oblivion so bad. (And I always tell people I go for Tron: Legacy vibes with my interior decorating!)

Everyone’s always talking about how punchable his face is... Am I the only one here who finds him hot

A lot of the reviews are similarly glowing; I’m surprised! Tron: Legacy and Oblivion were both pretty flawed but really gorgeous and memorable, and I’m happy Kosinski finally has a good script. (Never saw his fireman movie.) Hope this doesn’t bomb.

[uh, spoilers for a cameo that doesn’t happen]

Yeah what the hell was with Apocalpyse causing Storm’s white hair and Xavier’s baldness? Did the Prime Universe X-Men also fight Apocalypse? And it all went down the same exact way (but without Mystique)?

I was very happy when I saw that Martinet was not only cast in the movie, but even got his name on the poster alongside the movie stars.

Happens with italics for me. Moves it to the front. (Hey, didn’t that time!)

Not enough people saw the movie for there to be an outrage over it lol

Will watch this for Željko <3

Yeah I haven’t seen Morbius either, but I have a suspicion that most critics (Film Twitter ones especially) have already had their pitchforks ready, and that this probably deserves a Tomatometer rating closer to 30% than to 16%.

She’s in it but with wayyyy lower billing. I liked her a lot too.

Panic Room is still the only movie I’ve ever seen Jared Leto in

I actually don’t think being compared to Demi Moore is an insult! If Jada wasn’t bald but instead had a pretty but distinctive hairstyle that was reminiscent of a different character from ‘90s pop culture (or if the baldness was purely a fashion statement and not caused by alopecia), I don’t think we’d be having this

I recognize that there are multiple ways to interpret his joke, but I sincerely did not detect sarcasm. It came across as good-natured to me. I’m sure Chris Rock knew he was taking a risk that Jada would be offended, but I think it’s highly unlikely that he would have made that joke if he thought her negative reaction

Idk, what’s so unusual about wanting to feel famous for a day? People have wished to see themselves on TV since TV was invented.

It was perhaps in poor taste, and I wouldn’t blame her for feeling somewhat offended, but it honestly didn’t seem outright mean-spirited at all to me. Supportive if anything. He said he liked the look!

also is the avclub just hiring one asian guy and assigning him to review all of the ‘asian movies’
