The election is in four months (!). No way is this going anywhere.

‘90s, not 90’s.

‘90s, not 90’s.

Shrek 2 is good. And I haven’t seen Spirit since 2002, but I somehow still get the main theme stuck in my head occasionally.

He just tweeted complaining about this comment calling him a homophobe! Michael Grant reads A.V. Club comments?? (Or maybe just the ones on articles pertaining to his books.)

Really? From the tweets I’ve seen, Michael Grant appears fairly liberal. And his books feature well-written gay characters. And now that I check, his Twitter profile picture is of him wearing a gay pride mask. So if he’s posted homophobic tweets, I have to believe they were one-offs that didn’t reflect his intent.

It’ll probably portray Comey mostly positively, but since the first half reportedly focuses on his investigation of Hillary’s emails and its impact on the election, I doubt they’ll let him off the hook fully.

Put it on Apple TV! I still want to watch The Golden Arm.

“One thing that seems hard to believe is that anyone will be particularly excited for a prestige drama about former FBI boss James Comey and Donald Trump.” I’m excited! I love fact-based political dramas, and one based on Trump’s presidency is bound to be interesting. And what an awesome cast.

Yay! Time loop movies are my favorite genre. I’m glad we’re past the point where they were all dismissed as “Groundhog Day ripoffs”, even though Groundhog Day is itself a “ripoff” of 12:01 PM.

Totally thought that was a young Lee Pace in that screenshot.

This is totally the sort of list Matt Singer would write.

Lol I thought the exact same thing.

Guess I’m confused. What’s so bad about reposting Obama’s message?

I’ve only seen Shea Whigham in Homecoming (and Joker), but I like him, so yay!

Never watched this movie, but I know it’s got a terrific soundtrack (by Robin Guthrie, from the Cocteau Twins).

Well, none of those things you listed are social networks. I still like to see occasional status updates from long-ago acquaintances; doesn’t mean I want to actually talk to them.

They were definitely in favor of Clinton throughout almost the entire election, but rarely by a huge amount, even if many pundits said so. FiveThirtyEight’s forecast, for example, gave her less than a 70% chance of winning in early June.

Alright, they weren’t perfectly accurate. (Polling never is.) What I meant was that the polls weren’t historically inaccurate, as many people insist. There was a small but systemic polling error that many analysts simply didn’t take into account. Just a couple percentage points made all the difference. It’s not that

Exactly. Polls were accurate, analysis of the polls was way off.

More people on the right (and center) hated Hillary. Yes, many people on the left hate Biden, but for most of them, they’d hate him for being a centrist even without the Tara Reade allegations. And thus far, those allegations haven’t been nearly as bad for his campaign as they might’ve been. Most voters made up their
