I’ve been having the same conversation with myself about Carmelo Anthony and what it actually means to be “good at basketball,” and I agree with you.

It feels like that was probably the end of Alex Smith’s career, which is really sad. I realize that he doesn’t get that much respect here, but the dude has done a lot and I was hoping that he would be able to at least quit on his own terms after this season or the next.

“Well, I believe in the soul, the knob, the quim, the swell of a bird’s arse, the curling free kick, bangers and mash, brown ale, that the novels of Jane Austen are self-indulgent poorly-edited bunk. I believe Jack the Ripper never left a note. I believe their ought to be an Act of Parliament outlawing Omniturf and

Except that many/most of us (not that I agree with “apologists”) like the singleplayer/NPC thing, and aren’t interested in PvP. So even though I’ve played everything from Morrowind to FO4, this isn’t really on my list.

Tire tread pattern looks like BF Goodrich All Terrains. This is why you spend the extra $$ for the “good” tires, although I’ve also had great luck with General Grabber AT2's.

Sure, vintage Harley Knuckleheads still bring in some money, too, but I’m really referring to how people see the brands in the future and whether they’ll still be “cool.” When the majority of Porsches on the road today are 4-door kid haulers, and the majority of Submariners are seen on the wrists of middle-aged guys

It’s an interesting question.

For me and lots of other people (even including some people at Obsidian), it was marred by Divinity Original Sin 2, which took isometric RPGs to the next level. It was very difficult to get much enjoyment out of POE2's combat system after DOS2's transcendent battles.

I have to wonder if we’ll see the same with things like the Rolex Submariner and Porsche 911 in another 20 years.

You spend all your life from your childhood wanting one until you can finally (barely) afford one only to realize that everyone else has one and you are once again indistinguishable from the masses.

Proof that a company can’t survive financially just on cosplay.

The problem with Harleys is the same problem with Corvettes.....

You spend all your life from your childhood wanting one until you can finally (barely) afford one only to realize that everyone else has one and you are once again indistinguishable from the masses.

So you spend $20k modding it only to realize that you

Harley Davidson made a crappy, over-priced, cheesy product and then aggressively turned it into a lifestyle brand for baby boomers.

Gee, what could go wrong with that business model?

OK to be honest... That looks... AWESOME! :D

Good read. I didn’t know anything about Stormlands until now and I wasn’t aware of Obsidian and InXile’s critical/commercial woes. That said, I’m a little sceptic about these acquisitions.

Yeah I think the answer will be in which of the now-grayed commenters get ungrayed. We’ll see.

In Under Armour’s defense, even when it stocks the pond everyone knows you’re not supposed to fish off the company pier.

im not not found of kpop but i gotta say this was awesome xD

There really should be a way to organize the comments so that the latest ones show up first. Every time you post a new version of this list, I still see the same comment lamenting the removal of Infamous Second Son. Not that I disagree, but I wanna talk about Inside.
