Coming this summer: High Felicia
Not a Rockatansky-Gibson connection?
I like that the bunk was a given, and the only question was which one to choose. Any given Monday…
"At the Baxter Foundation, the young men are joined by Storm’s children,
his biological son Johnny (Michael B. Jordan) and adopted daughter Susan
(Rooney Mara)"
This guy gets it.
I had a really hard time getting past the fact that Nü-Verger didn't appear to be paralyzed…
I was very surprised a few years ago to learn that it's actually "Scut Farkus".
"You know a Courtney Love?"
"Yeah."
"Same thing."
It's from Scrubs. J.D. starts passing out in the bathroom, and gets diagnosed with Vasalvago Syncope. Dr. Cox finds this really funny: "If he's [r]igorously valsalvic he can activate his reflex and actually lose consciousness. Carla, he'll pass out when he poops!"
"… that's a padawan…"
I thought about throwing tetralogy into the mix, but quadrilogy seems to be perfect for the 43verse.
"And it's a great call-back, because it's already been set up!"
I love the idea of Movies 7-11 forming a quadrilogy within this series. So appropriate…
Ah yes, the "Landis"…
I had my actual, genuine "aw fuck" reaction when I read this morning that he had passed. For some reason, seeing it again on the AV Club put me into "no Winds Of Winter" mode. I'm better now…
I know that "Get off my plane!" is what this movie is known for, but I always got chills from the "I'll do it." moment, when Oldman is counting with a gun on his daughter. You can see Ford's facade crumble as the count reaches two, and he realizes he has to give in. He sells the hell out of it.
Upvoted for "emigrant".
Other than a general vibe of Thiessen hotness, the absolute only thing I remember about this show is a bad guy in one episode pointing an Uzi at one of the heroes, and having his gun hand cut off by a katana. Put me down as "conflicted"…
The Sheks of Haz'Zord
"Sorry boss, Glorbes says I gotta go."
