i disagree. Even with companies that aren’t 1st or 2nd party, such as Capcom, coming out with an exclusive game to Sony. People cheer at that BS. I owned a dreamcast and had the pleasure of playing resident evil code Veronica. But I realized how bullshit it was that it was exclusive. It’s never a good thing

that was Microsoft under completely different leadership and wildly different business strategy. That was the age of windows phones and zones. Since then Microsoft has "entrenched" and follows the consumer. They invest in cloud, less in hardware releases and software is king

Yeah i read that. Its a good plan and im glad they will continue to support existing games on other platforms. The wording of "on a case by case basis" is interesting. Smart wording there. Because if in 3 years elder scrolls 6 comes out and its xbox/pc exclusive, nobody can say that they lied about it

Id counter that by saying you don’t really hear of studios doing *worse*. They seem to simply be allowed to exist maybe slightly better or slightly worse than before. But definitely better funded

With all these studios, id love a situation where they are pumping out expansions on an annual basis the way the Call of duty studios work. Keep alternating development duties to the studios to pump things out faster and more efficiently
